Didnt want Kaman anyway. over the hill and getting old fast. not much of a defender either. Also doesn't seem like he'd fit here.

Marreese Speights is also off the table, GSW got him.

So we're left with : Birdman, Dalembert, Oden, Greg stiemsma, Varnado.

I want the first 3.

If we're stuck with **** Varnado on this team again we've had our worst offseason in quiet a long time.

Well the last 3 years have probably the been best off seasons (along with acquiring Shaq) we've had. It's tough to outdo those

Its still a long way's from being over. If we can resign Anderson and bring in either Oden or Dalebert, this off-season will be a huge success. All we need is a bit more size and to hopefully find a young player like ennis that could play 10 mins in the future.

People here actually cared about Kaman? Dude becomes a liability offensively sometimes, and his defense is ****. Not a good player for this team in the least.

Greg Steims is an interesting name. Wouldn't mind as a backup center, but that'd only make sense if Spo stops playing Bosh at the 5 to start games, and moves him back to his natural position (assuming Bird even re-signs). Otherwise, he wouldn't see the floor.

so i see most teams are finishing up signing their guys. bynums gonna be off the tables soon. 2 years 24 million hed be a fool to reject that.

varnado looks like he is gonna make that final roster spot

i think well land oden. cleveland wont be able to get him if they get andrew

i also think birdmans a lock to come back. hes getting 5 mil next season. if he signs for more somewhere else theyll just deduct that contract from the 5 denvers paying

oden vet min. birman mini mle

Birdman/Oden/Anthony
Bosh/Haslem/Varnado
James/Battier/Lewis/Jones
Wade/Allen/Miller
Chalmers/Cole

15 man squad. no one gets amnestied, season after next joel and miller are expirings so they are good trade pieces for teams who want to clear cap room. we ride it out one more year. big 3 use their ETOs and start again from scratch in 2014-2015

woulda been nice to have for that price, him and Birdman would have been the scariest looking center duo in league history

disappointed that we didn't pursue Kamen for the mmle. Head and shoulders above everything else we have or that is on the center market.

Still would be happy with Oden.

If we can somewhat get rid of Joel and Miller I would be ok with signing Ron Artest for the veteran's minimum and playing him at mostly at PF if we continue to go small. Ron is still an effective defensive player and he has the size and bulk to guard majority of the PF's in today's NBA and can shoot the three at a decent clip.
This is the ideal roster I would want to start the season with if possible.

PG Chalmers, Cole,
SG Wade, Allen, JJ
SF Lebron, Battier, Ennis
PF Bosh, Artest Haslem, Shard
C Dalembert, Birdman, Oden

Kaman is soft and a jump shooter now a days. Not to mention that he doesn't pass the ball much once he gets it (I am sure Kobe is going to love that). We need a rebounder who can hit the mid-range shot and play defense. In other words, a 6'10 ft or taller 2006 Udonis Haslem.
