Yeah, Ellington is about to get paid. Philly and Lakers need to pounce on shooters right now. Riley can't match or justify a longer than 2 year deal unless there are other moves planned.

Honestly, when it comes down to it I'd rather use the money that would go to Ellington on Wade. We all watched the playoffs, Wayne isn't a difference maker. He'd look good next to LeBron or on the Sixers in a Bellenelli role but for us it's hard to justify with TJ and Dion set to make $30mill plus.

True from a cap standpoint but from a basketball one, we do need his high percentage shooting. Ideally TJ becomes the off -ball shooter Ellington was. Getting Waiters helps with the playmaking but not the spacing. I am also intrigued to see what McGruder brings to the table healthy. A bunch of guards on our roster.

If they renounce the rights to Randle they will have 13 million to spend. They can also free up space by stretching Deng.

The team looks like a clown show right now it's hard to believe they can complete a team with vet min guys going into the season. LeBron should know by now that surrounding himself with washed up shooters is not going to cut it esp. in the West.

I still think Leonard finds his way to LA. If LA can get Randle to agree to a S&T to the Spurs and they toss in Ingram i'd have to imagine that's about as good as anything the Sixers can give up other then picks.
