We've all assumed a lot over the years. I focus on the fact that none of these stories mention an offer. Every story is about "whether Wade intends to play next season", or whether he's going to play here or in China. There is never a mention of an offer by the Heat or negotiations ... instead Pat says "There has been communication with Dwyane and with his agent."

What isn't said can speak volumes.

Yep. last we heard is RIley would have to check with Arison on if we can even offer the MLE. Nothing serious has been offered as far as I'm concerned.
