Herro's surprisingly good signs :

1. Passing - not only does he deliver the pass quickly with great timing, he's showing really solid vision to find the right man and encouraging willingness to give up the ball for a team mate.

2. Hands on defense - he's got a knack for steals, quick hands and seeing the openings before they happen. early signs of Good defensive IQ, and again a willingness to play hard and fight for it.

3. Handle - He's alot closer to being ready for PG minutes then many of us thought. He can roll to the basket, bring the ball up the court, he's not super polished but he's no Kapono that's for sure.

Not so good signs :

He's having trouble getting to the rim, and finishing strong while in the paint. He'll need to work on a an arsenal of paint moves, floater, running jumpers, etc. He'll also need good screeners to help him get an edge on his defender. He's not explosive but he's tall and hopefully can get a little quicker and improve as a driver.

Really good and unbiased assessment of yourself TRex Boy Wonder! I am encouraged by your progress in summer league and agree that you are having some difficulty getting passed your man and finishing at the rim. A little Steph Curry craftiness can help you in addition to good screens.

Some of the shots seem a little forced and rushed too, especially the ones off the dribble with a hand in your face, but I do like the confidence and your willingness to try to keep the defender honest. We just need you hitting those with a little more consistency to truly be effective.

Keep hustling out there! You making ping pong paddle hand look like a newb! You are our rook and we got your back! We were all Herro fans since birth!

We gave us 3 2nd rounders for KZ Okpala? Hm, they do see something in him. Interesting.

Lots of youngins to choose from. Nunn is apparently already signed with the team, Duncan is a 2nd year project who’s looking good, Herro is the shootin’ white boi we need. Decisions decisions

No they are getting him up to speed on plays, individual coaching plan, learning the plays, and likely getting him into game shape. He probably been sitting for weeks not playing. Probably see him the next game
