Richardson: 29pts, 9-16 FG, 10-10 FT. What a game for him. Hit some big shots this game.

Great game by JRich. Will be interesting to see the numbers he puts up now that he'll get more shots but also get more defensive attention.

It's fun to admire CP3's game when we're not the ones paying him $40mil a year. He's filthy.

Yea', I think it's malpractice by 6ers/Bucks to not pursue him. They should see themselves in win now timelines

I don't see us in that same win-now frame and I'd be okay with not walking that line

Chris Paul is the difference between what running an offense looks like and Westbrook running himself.

Why pay 40 mil for a great player when you just pay 27 million to 2 players and get little to no production from them. In Miami's unique situation I'd be fine replacing them and sending someone else out to have another great player on Miami's roster. It just boggles my mind that fans consider overpayment of a great player is way worse than paying 2/3s that for basically no production from multiple players but that ship has sailed at least for this season, OKC would have to have a good/great offer to move CP3 now, they've trashed their chances at a high draft pick next year.

Yeah, but those contracts run out in 2021. Whereas CP3 will have another year of over 47mil coming to him. So, you can kiss any free agents goodbye at that point, if you're stuck with that contract. It's really not that complicated why Miami is ok with those 27mil contracts which expire in 2021 over CP3s. Plus adding him doesn't guarantee a ring for Miami, not to mention his age and injury history.

It's quite simple IMO.

CP3 is amazing until his hammy flares up in late April/Early May. It sucks, but it's usually how this thing plays out. This quality of play isn't guaranteed 3-4 months from now, so I'm enjoying it while it's still happening.

I agree about the Bucks, but I'm not sure about Sixers. Harris and Al has equely terrible deals for even longer time. After all the work Collangelo/Brand has done, they simply don't have enough assets for such a risky deal

Tatum is just another reincarnation of Memphis/Toronto Rudy Gay, with improved defense
