lol they're not in the same tier. Being no 1 option whose the focal point of every posession is way different than being a 2nd or 3rd option who can take a couple games off offensively.
It's Joker >>>> Big Gap >>>> Embiid > Gap >>> AD >>> Bam
Its no disrespect to Bam to have him as 4th best center

Have yourself a night, you guys have been waiting awhile for this

Butler, Vincent, Robinson, Lowry, Strus...

You gotta bring the Spam to the party, brehz.

Celtics woke up.

Now it's going to be some work to close the lid on the cooking.

Rest, hydrate, attack again.

TNT trying to put the pressure on us lol. There’s no pressure, we have nothing to lose. We’re gonna send the C’s packing. Wonder who their coach will be next season

Nah, there was a lot of stupid plays that weren't being done before and Butler doesn't look anything like he did before he hurt his ankle in the New York series. You saw Butler missing bunnies at the rim right? That's what he was doing in the 2021 playoffs where they got swept.

Neither the Refs, League, or Vegas had anything to do with this loss..... It was all there for the Heat to put this game away in the 3rd.

16-0.....SIXTEEN to ZERO allowed Boston to get in rhythm and thats why you never play with your food.

Yeah, Foster has no effect...yet the Celtics never lose with him. Keep telling yourself that.

Some fans just won't believe that the league "influences" outcomes of games to fatten their bottom line. No mystery that the night after the other series ends, they send in "the extender" to make sure the league isn't going 9 days with no revenue.

1 bad shooting game doesn't mean we can't beat Denver but I definitely would not pay Gabe or Strus (unless reasonable). These playoffs where our shooters are playing above their talent don't change that. Even if we won the title, I'm not overpaying these guys. This is the trap that keeps us from being as talented as other teams. We get stuck with albatross contracts for bad to average players.

i wonder how many teams have graced the heat with this mentality lol

they usually destroy them when they can. in my view this team needs to develop a killer instinct because that's were the respect comes from. when you have that swagger of being good or great vs being just being another team

hope though that the heat closes it out in boston but its going to be tough because they will believe that they can beat this team now .

Only bright side to this loss is it might keep Mazzulla around going forward. He was gone with a sweep

Lilseb93 wrote:If we lose 4 in a row then Boston earned it. People panic after 1 game and then start pushing narratives. That's why I should probably stick to the Heat forum during the playoffs instead of the general board.

Naah if you loose 4 in a row its the biggest choke job in NBA history. It will be a stain in Heat's, Spo's and Butler's legacy. We can't loose this series. The Heat better not entertain that at all and use excuse Boston better team. That would supreme looser mentatlity.
But this is Heat culture no way in hell it happens. That is not in our DNA.
Spoiler:
If by any chance it happens I don't care if Butler had lost a leg, everyone would have to go include Spo. Can't have that as part of your franchise

Nah, blaming a ref when you get blown out is a loser mentality. Players don't get any kind of pass for this. Refs didn't make them miss free throws, miss bunnies, miss 3s, commit stupid turnovers, leave guys wide open for 3.

Well, our team is still playing.

We've been over this. I'm from SFL and a Heat fan first. I made this account a couple years ago to comment on a Warriors thread when I was living in SF, but don't think I ever even used it once it was approved. I'm a UF alum like you, but I've been a Canes fan my whole life, mostly bc I can't stand pansy ass Gator fans.
