 Horrible series.
almost every player beside's Wade underperform.

But you sound like Beasley fans when we lose, but he plays well.

I don't believe Q, Wright, Joel, Arroyo underperformed.

Players that did under perform are: JO, Haslem

Wade was Wade just couldn't do it, needs another star.

Q had some real good streaks during the season, only guy that probably didn't underperform besides Wade was Chalmers, every other guy played much better in some stretches during the season. Dorell was probably close to performing to what I expected. But I seen Dorell still play much better.
But about everyone else, didn't play close to what they are fully capable.

Hopefully in the offseason we fire Spo, hire a real coach and restructure the offense around Beasley. Hire a special coach to teach Beasley to rebound better. Get a center and point guard in free agency, because power forward position is set. If Wade is not on board, ship his ass out.

Nobody is saying that we need to build the offense around Beasley. But Beasley was drafted to be the #2 option to Wade. What was the point of drafting Beasley if they were going to run a (Please Use More Appropriate Word) offense and not give him any looks?

How do you do that when the guy looks scared and timid out there? Beasley needs to grow some balls, you cant blame that on the coach at all.

You make asking the coach not to play a guy shooting 30 odd % 35 minutes, and the guy shooting 20% 27 mins unreasonable.

Because the guy shooting 40%, turning the ball over, playing poor help D and unable to rebound the ball would have made the difference.

I'd be behind you guys if it was about taking JO out for Joel. THAT was the obvious move to make. But Haslem for Beasley, you're trading slightly better but still horrible offense for slightly better but still mediocre D. But at least Haslem was getting rebounds.

Would anyone else NOT taking back JO, NOT EVEN for the mimimum?

Dude is SHOT. Once he's taken out of rhythm with an injury(like he was with the hyperextened knee), it takes him FOREVER to get back.

Guy should seriously consider retiring. It's embarassing.

Coming into tonight's game Haslem had 1 more rebound and 26 less points than Beasley. Beasley may have not been great this series, but he was out playing the guy that always replaces him. Yet Haslem gets the pat on the back cause no one expects him to do much.

Since we're talking Beasley, here is my take -

Beasley is the JR Smith of SF's/PF's.

Yeah he has talent, but mentally he's just not there. That's something you either have or you don't. Not taking into account some of the bonehead turnovers he made, the guy gets rattled so easily. I mean Barkley called him/the Heat's role players "Tito's" and the guy was shaken up over that. He also mentioned KG talking trash to him got him rattled.

I really hope we trade him, but seeing as his value is so low right now, I think we are stuck with him unless we can package him with a pick and some team see's potential in him.

Anyway, I'm not blaming him for the loss at all, because you can't pinpoint the loss one on guy in specific, though the majority of the blame goes to JO. I'm just saying that it wouldn't bother me one bit if him, JO, and Haslem were playing for another team next season.

'horrible offense'? Come on Beasley wasn't given a chance tonight, he took 3 shots, his 3 TO's were bad, but he also had 3 steals, Spo played this like it was Haslem's coming out party or something. And playing JO was just as bad, i said after the last game he was hurting us too much to even play at all.

Seriously, what the **** did you expect? Personally, I didn't expect more than this. When JO went down I knew he'd suck. I'm not high on Beasley so there's no real disappointment there. The only guy who kinda disappointed me is UD because I figured he's somebody we could always count on.

We had shots at winning more games but guy just underperformed, but like I said, I kinda expected it.

You guys are so damn redundant.

Well guys it was an awful series for us, I am happy the heart we showed in the last 2 games though. We just couldn't make it.

I want to make a new thread but at the same time i don't feel like it.

Players I want back:
Haslem less than 5.5 mil a year
Q less than 3 mil a year
Wright less than 3 mil a year
Arroyo less than 1 mil a year
Joel Less than 2
JO only if he takes less than 4 mil a year, contract not to exceed 2yrs

Demote spo, bring in a coach that likes to run. Bring in the two max of Wade and a PF - bosh, amare, boozer, or dirk. As a pg i would love hinrich. Matter fact if we can trade beasley for hinrich and a 1st.

I'm unable to watch the post-game comments.

Can somebody just post a brief breakdown on what the players/coaches are saying.

Thanks.

Jax interviewed Udonis, and asked him about returning. Udonis deflected it, said its a business decision, its up to his agent.

Translation, he's gone. Someone out there will give him the MLE.

Guys Spo isn't going to just accept being demoted. Would you do that at your own job?

He would go coach somewhere else.

So there's no chance of Lebron coming here?

That sucks, I always felt he'd be a Heat for life. You need hustle/role players like him, but I'm sure there will be others out there.

He'll be 30 in about a month, so IMO his best days are behind him.

This is off topic but with the economy a lot of people have taken demotions this last couple of years.

Eitehr way he needs to realize he needs more polishing to be a head coach of a contender. We need a prooven coach to contend.
