Circle back? Another sleeper scoop for us as a potential 4/5 backup.

yes i would like a guy that can rebound because sadly bam is almost allergic to it. but it all depends if spo will allow players to rebound with his offensive schemes, i mean he makes bam to guard the 3 point like

Jazz fan here. The lowkey chatter is that Miami is offering Herro, Robinson, Strus, Yurt, maybe Jovic, and at least 3 FRPs, plus pick swaps for Mitchell.

I can't imagine the Jazz would accept that for Mitchell, but apparently the Jazz are at least talking to you.

Jazz love their black players. The new owner is trying hard to be *hip* now.

If it were me, I'd have been willing to trade Mitchell in a deal that brought back Banchero, or for Jaden Ivey, plus multiple future picks.

I think there needs to be a real centerpiece in a Mitchell trade, and I'm not seeing one here. Your picks are going to be late 1sts for a while.

I've seen Pat work some magic, but I've never viewed Mitchell as a realistic option. He just has no leverage in this trade so the Jazz can call the shots.

Had her to performed better in the playoffs it may be more realistic, hell maybe we would’ve won the championship and we wouldn’t be looking to trade him though. I think that’s a pretty solid return for you all and you could even turn and flip Herro Jovic and all the picks somewhere else for a star if you wanted, maybe at the deadline.

It would help if Mitchell would request a trade to Miami but he seems scared. Trading Bam or Jimmy doesn’t make sense for us.

I see Herro as a guy who has found his role as a shooter off the bench, like a Bogdan Bogdanovic or Buddy Hield. He's nice, but not going to really move the needle. Plus he's going to want to get paid.

Mitchell likes Miami. I mean, I like Miami. But Mitchell won't be able to steer his destination until he's a year out from free agency, which is two years from now. Ainge will send him to Cleveland if that's the move he wants to make.

Exactly. That's why I haven't bothered following any rumors regarding Mitchell. It's not realistic. ESPECIALLY, with Ainge being there who hates Pat.

The Jazz are at an interesting crossroads--they're not good enough to really contend the way the league is going, and their players aren't aligned around a coherent timeline. I could see the Jazz making a real shake up. But if you're in a small market like the Jazz and you're going to rebuild, you need to follow the blueprint that the Pelicans used. They traded AD and got a haul, then bided their time and traded Jrue and got another haul. The Jazz don't HAVE to do anything with Mitchell or Gobert as both are signed long term.

If the Knicks offered a package similar to the one the Heat just offered, I could see it being enticing. The reason is that the Knicks front office is shortsighted and often incompetent, so their picks have real upside. The Heat don't really have that selling point.

As nice as it would be to add Mitchell to our roster, I low key hope we can somehow hold onto Jovic in any potential deal. I like his potential. Also thats a lot of our shooting we are sending out in that package, hope Riley has some replacements in mind that can space the floor for Jimmy and Bam.

We'd only be able to send you our 2023, 2027 and 2029 picks anyway. Next years might be high but you never know with 27 and 29.
