Fox looked amazing too. His 3 isn't falling, but everything else looked like John Wall with more responsible ball handling. His defense will get Spo to let him on the court.

Leaf is moving up my board. He's looking better to me than Love did at UCLA and shooting better % than iLoveMarkkanen (not from the ft line though). He could've had a triple double last week with 25-10-8 and 2 blk in 28 minutes.

Tatum is moving up too, I'm tired of this year's team missing free throws and seeing how Heat fans have no patience for Winslow's shot to develop, I don't think they'll give Josh Jackson any slack. Tatum seems like a safe pick while still having upside.

Smith is falling because people are seeing what I saw weeks ago, with Nbadraft net saying he looks like he's allergic to defense at times. I still see upside though, maybe a Kyle Lowry type arc.

Finally someone posted a Huskies game, so I'm going to watch this RIGHT NOW:

You say only difference in Wall and Fox is their shooting? I thought Wall was a poor 3 point shooter when he came to the NBA?

Him and Justise would have goat swing TV, gt references

He plays like that for the rest of the season and it'd be hard to see him available to anyone not, 8 or under

You guys think Jackson can play the 4, fresh out? Feels like he could have real potential there in the league if he could sustain that. Or Giles come out as a 5? Would love a young Big and a wing. Even more than I would a point guard and y'all know I love a good point guard project

Not gonna be surprised if DSJ is picked out of the top 5. I think Ball, Monk, JJ and Fultz have higher potential than him. Then you got Tatum and Giles.

:o :-? :) :D

Ceiling doesn't mean he'll ultimately become Bosh, that his best case scenario. Many prospects have/had NBA all stars as their ceilings, but that's assuming they live up to their potential which many prospects fail to do.

From some of the clips I've seen on DraftExpress, it's fair to have Bosh as the ceiling for Markannen.

Are talking about both offense, & defense? Because half the game is played on the defensive end.

Anyone else unimpressed with Dennis Smith? I'll take Monk over him without a second thought.

Markannen is reported to have the potential to defend pick and rolls efficiently. I'm not saying he's going to become Bosh, but some of the things he can potentially do are skills that Bosh possessed(shooting, driving to the hoop, pick and roll defense, post fadeaway).

There were no setbacks over the past week or weekend. So as of right now Giles is a go to make his debut tomorrow. Expect very limited minutes though.

After Monk's last game, I think he could go top 3. I can't think of any current or former NBA player who shoots and makes 3's as much as Monk does while also being very athletic.

Monk's last game was great. Im not trying to take anything away from that game, it was a blast to watch. But Im not ready to put Monk as this sharp shooter type player yet. He has always been a very streaky shooter in the past and prior to this last game he was shooting 38% from 3.

I couldnt take Monk in the top 5 of this draft. He still has very questionable shot selection, his handle leaves a lot to be desired and hes not a good defender. His size worries me at the 2 and its hard not to get a smaller JR Smith feel from him. Not trying to say he wont be a legit good player, I think he will. I just feel like there are 5-6 guys in this class that can be legit #1 or great #2s on a really good team. I cant see Monk ever being a #1 on a good team. Should be a really great scorer though no doubt.

Yea' Monk not a top 5'er from anybody but reaching teams

Luckily the league's got some of those

Smith's swagger reminds me of Lin, not Lin-sanity Lin but normal Lin. Looks more comfortable off the ball
