So i'm guessing the next step is to release Maten and sign UD right? Roster it up at 14 and sign a couple of two way players and we are good going into the season. Still pressed up against the hard cap so will not rule out a trade for a bigger contract for a lesser contract type deal.

Guards: G. Dragic, D. Waiters, T. Herro
Wings: J. Butler, J. Winslow, D. Jones Jr.
Bigs: B. Adebayo, K.Olynyk, M. Leonard, J. Johnson

Butler played backup PG for half the season and in the playoffs for Philly.

But no, to get Liliard it would cost just as much as it did the Clippers to get PG.

So how is it that a player who was MVP and had three consecutive triple double seasons is only available for kind of price... WB is nice but is also a bit overrated and not a Top 10 player in my book... if youre not top 10 youre definitely not a supermax player, youre overpaid if youre getting that kind of money...

lol no. PG13 is a way better player than Lillard and the package we got was because they were going to sign Kawhi as well with that trade. We got lucky to be honest. We got way more than PG13 trade value really is I think SGA is worth more than Herro + Bam combined, at least for the moment, it could change quickly (Carmelo projects him as a future all star)

Downside of this great trade is that now we will end up trading Russ for almost nothing. I still think you guys will end up with Russ for peanuts. He just had his worst year as a pro but I think he will be better in the next 2-3 years than most people think (not denying the fact that he's under a bad contract though)

Thank God it seems like theyre refusing to trade any young assets for Westbrook. They should just stand pat and let OKC find another team willing to actually give up assets to take on that albatross contract if thats what they're insisting on.

It'll be interesting to see if anything takes shape with Russell now. Salary dump or no go it seems. DJJ at most.

The market for him looks basically non-existent.

Good luck to OKC and their rebuild with Westbrook on their roster because no one in the league is giving OKC two - three talented young players, expiring contracts and 2 FRP's like they are asking for from us.

Miami will just make a different move to make sure our 2021 and 2023 picks are in the 20's while Westbrook makes sure OKC's picks are in the 15-20 range.
