Herro would be a top 3 pick in this draft probably....would you rather have Herro or Reed Sheppard?

Now it's time for the second move - We've got to target a player that can create offense, can drive to the rim. It can all be on Jimmy.

We need a scorer that can drive.

Trader Pat needs to secure another 1st rder.

We can't really bring Herro back on the team right?

Next to Rozier?

It makes so much sense to add a pick.....

Agreed, I was just about to quote your post about now it's time for the second move and add that we need to get rid of Herro as part of that or as a 3rd move.

Denver spent up to lock in Daron Holmes.

Its a great spot for him. He fits there in the same ways he would have fit with Miami. Can play backup center and PF. Can play alongside Jokic and Gordon. Nice boost to their fronctourt rotation

The problem is he makes like 30M, is often injured, can't play defense, can't get to the line, is inconsistent and seems close to his ceiling already. And he's not going to be very willing to go to the bench and be 6th man again which is his best role after getting a taste of starting.

In that case I'd take Flip.

No need for more bigs. Ware and Bam are compatible and nasty together. Elite length.

We really need to target a versatile physical guard.

To be fair im not full sold on Terry as our starting PG, he also might be best used as a 6th man considering how bad his defense was. Ideally get rid of both of them.

Man, Washington is going extremely young in this rebuild.

I think we'd get more value from trading duncan at this point than Tyler given the respective years they had and their contracts. Not ideal, but seems like it may be the next step.

Same, all I know is we can't have them both together. I prefer to roll with Terry over Herro since he is at least able to get into the paint and breakdown a defense, and he's been more durable although of course he got injured at a bad time as soon as he became a Heat haha. If we make some roster improvements I'd be good with him as a 6th man too, he seems to have the right attitude and is just happy to be here which is another bonus.

This pick is indication smallball is FINALLY dead.

Ware killed it.

They saw what we saw - you can't be at a size dis advantage all the time.

Ware/Bam front court is like....top 3 biggest in the NBA?!

Spo needs to make them work togther.

Wouldn’t hate picking up a late first and taking Collier.

“Bam potentially moving to the 4”

No way he just said that on a whim, Heat brass suddenly seems all in on the Bam’s a 4 idea

I know that UD said it on ESPN, and don’t know if I’m trippin about this but I’m pretty sure that I saw Bam make a comment about wanting to go to the 4 or say something about him naturally being a 4. Maybe somebody else said it, I’m not sure.

Bam might have requested the change himself.

If we came out of the draft with Collier and Ware, I’d feel a lot better about taking Ware at 15.

Screw it. Throw him to the wolves to see if he survives and live with the results.
