Lauri. Trae Young's poor defense, small size, and limited off ball makes him surprisingly hard to build around. The Heat have shown that if you make him uncomfortable/mess with his efficiency he doesn't have much else.

Okay so since we’re officially interested in Lauri and nobody else of worth is attainable….

Herro, JJJJ, and Niko and a 1st

For

Lauri and Sexton.

It gets Ainge his guy in Herro who is 3 years younger than Lauri (who will command the max VERY SOON) JJJ a young player who is good at everything and will be a very good starter in this league, Niko a unicorn who has a very high ceiling and playoff experience, plus a future 1st.

Miami gets Bams front court partner to match up with the Bostons, Milwaukee, Philly, Wolves, OKC’s, Nuggets of the world. Also gets us Sexton who is fearless, attacks the paint and has that dawg in him.

We’d have

Bam Ware
Lauri Love
Jimmy Highsmith (resigned)
Duncan Sexton (possible 6th man candidate)
Rozier Richardson

Does this team compete in your eyes? Is it a championship contender? I say it does. And is the best move to make.

It's quite possible Markkanen only wants to sign for 3 years and a player's option to get to that 10-year NBA mark to go from 30% of the cap to 35% of the cap, something Mitchell just did with Cleveland.

Adding Lauri and sexton would be amazing.

Getting Lavine and a 1st or 2 would be great

I’d be happy with the Derozan stuff

Trae would be an ELITE and bold pick up. That’s the risk you take that could entirely fix your offense and he’s easily the one who would do most for Bam

Every move requires follow up vet signings

Unfortunate because Wright would’ve been the perfect starter. Hit up Pat Bev? I’d probably want DSJ too. I wouldn’t be mad about a shakeup like that but I understand it’s highly unlikely. Would bring a new dynamic to the team for sure

Haha yea he is, he’s fed up :lol:

A lot of people won’t like it but they needed to be called out, they’re just not doing their jobs to the best of their ability right now. It seems they’re being proactive this summer though so we’ll see
