Why would we want AD? The dude made of glass, and barely play. No thank you.

Sabonis seems like a guy we could use. No more guards, no more wings, need a guy who can rebound and defend

He gives you rebounding for sure and offensive versatility, he doesn’t play much defense though

Good for Kas’ development. Keen to see him get some PT.

AD is nice, on the occasion he's healthy. If Edrice can space the floor now, that duo could do some damage, but losing Herro would be a blow to the spacing that lineup needs. AD/Bam would also clean up Tyler's defensive miscues too.

I'm not fully opposed to acquiring AD, but I'm not sure he's the guy you want to blow your capspace on. Does acquiring him really move us to the top of the East? If your biggest opposition is the Pistons, then maybe.

Im just curious because I've been reading this alot.

AD is injury prone and it's used against him. He averages 62 gp/year.

Tyler is more injury prone yet it isn't used against him. He averages 59 gp/year.

At this point in time, age matters. Tyler’s injuries are not bodily impediments. AD’s injuries have altered his body to a point he is not the same player and is fragile.

Big NO to the AD for Herro trade.
Any other player not named Bam, Powell and Ware are ok with me.

With the Heat, it’s very rare that smoke in the trade market means a potential trade is getting hot. All leaks are strategic. The Pentagon should take notes on how to run a ship this tight.

The defensive problems are curious to me because according to most, we have Wiggins who is supposed to be an exceptional wing defender. Why are we seeing no evidence of this?

Similarly, Davion and Dru at the PG spot have offered nothing as far as stopping the point of attack for offenses. For Landry Shamet to go off on everybody on our team was insane.

I'm actually hoping that it is due to Bam being out and that breaking everything (we have no PF anymore without him). But we are in serious trouble if he comes back and it proves to still be a problem.

KAT dominating early opened open things for Shamet

That doesnt fully excuse Mia's perimeter defenders who were putrid, but it does factor into the equation.

Only problem is he's a hard archetype to win with. He isnt a great defender and doesnt spread the floor, so unless he with with a guy like Kat, the fit is tough. Just look at his time next to Turner in Indiana

I mean it’s not rocket science, the defensive issues are because the best defender in the world over the last 7 years or so is out injured.

I assumed he was hinting that the defense is struggling because herro isn't playing.

Jovic is playing out of position, i get it, but it has body language thats an issue for me.

I dont want to start a rant right now.

He gives me the same vibe I had about Drob last year.

And what is his position? Spo is playing him at wing because he can't play him as a big. Abd his flaws are being highlighted as a wing. He's fouling alot because he can't keep up on the perimeter. I still think he's a face up 4, but outside of some perimeter skills, he has nothing.

Whenever there was a big, wiggins, Jaime, and even pelle were given that responsibility before jovic.

Honestly, I think his biggest problem is Jaime.
