So the soap opera continues for another day, and this forum is being tossed around by the twitter maelstrom. My stance hasn't changed. No sources on anything, just scuttlebutt. I'd say trust the person who reported we'd be pursuing McBobs and Granger, but no one did. So I'll wait for someone with credibility to deliver a guarantee. Lebatard has been closest so far, but if SAS comes out with a guarantee, I'll start taking of seriously. I don't believe rumors in either direction. My opinion is based on weighing the likelihood of each scenario as far as the principles are concerned. LeBron to Houston makes more sense than the Cleveland move.

ok but u have to understand, if we somehow fit McBob under the cap, we automatically lose all those exceptions. Therefore, by giving him any money, we're surrendering our MLE unless we can use chalmers to sign and trade for him. Logically, it wouldve been better to NOT sign McBob yet, keep the MLE. Try to get someone better, then if we strike out, give the MLE to McBob. Now we have to bank on chalmers taking a sign and trade.
