The Heat don’t necessarily need another big, just another forward. Rudy Gay would fit that mould, but I don’t thinn the Spurs would make a deal with the Heat. The Heat typically trade with: Memphis, Minnesota, Phoenix, and maybe Portland.

I think their defense is noodles and it starts with this fat boi. they lost Jarami Grant who was probably their best defender and Paul Milsap is likely a half step slower. they'll probably get it together just like they did when the were down 1-3 two series in a row.

This. Grant played a big role and with Milsap getting older (slower), the margin for error becomes smaller

Grant's loss is big loss since he was a good ORTG-DRTG who played 25+ minutes in that rotation. With some rotation players not doing well and Porter missing 3 games and Murray missed 1 game you can see why Denver 3-4 with one of those loses being Hield's last second tip in, in overtime.

This is where looking at the ORTG - DRTG may help shed some light.

Here's the issues, 3 players in their rotation pulling everyone down.

If you look at the nba.com basic +/- G.Harris and Barton looks "fine", but looking at BBRef's calculated ORTG-DRTG you see he's really pulling this team down.
