no player has had 11 blocks or more against Denver in the last 30 years :o
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

After Wade & Bosh publicly criticizing the kid after the Clippers game & Hassan putting up monster numbers tonight minus Wade....it's going to be interesting days ahead to see how all this in-house bickering plays out. Whiteside has made this situation very interesting.....

He's had 3 games like this so far in less than 100 games for us. Maybe it's worth being more patient with him and trying to develop him instead of constantly blaming him for everything that goes wrong on a team where he makes the least amount of money of anyone in the main rotation. He doesn't have much NBA experience, there's going to be ups and downs with any player like that. He's been relatively consistent given that. I just don't get why people are so mad at him, because he's not yet Hakeem.

Plus to me, the only way this team becomes a contender is if Whiteside develops. He's the only thing that can make us a special team. We saw last year what Bosh and Wade are good for on their own. And we've seen this year that Dragic isn't that great. I don't know if the frustration with Whiteside is coming from this, that he's the thing that can change this team radically, and isn't there yet--or what. But I feel like it would be nice to see fans and the team show more support for him. Even though he talks a lot of ****, I think it's obvious he's hugely insecure about his place in the NBA, and belonging to a group. I think if some of the leaders on this team showed more encouragement when he does something right, then yelling to the press all the time about all the things he does wrong--it might go a long ways. I'm not sure tough love is going to make him less selfish. Particularly since it's a contract year.

Monster game, but what I really liked was the quote about is up and downs. It's shows some awareness and a desire to work through it, didn't blame anyone or get too cocky. It's all about his mind, not about the talent.

I'm at a point where I care more about his quotes, demeanor, body language, focus, then his stats. He's proved his talent and effectiveness, it's his state of mind that needs to follow. The mental aspect is HUGE for guys like him, especially going forward with more money and more pressure and fame.

what is next for whiteside...
he needs serious fixes on his offense and defensive game still. Still very raw.
Needs to still get strongest holding the ball and that dribble is shaky when it comes to turnovers.
his pivot move is slow and predictable and he puts the ball down which often gets stripped.
And we all know he needs to look to pass when he doesnt have the easy shot. He is already working on his jumper.Very fixable

He needs lots of 1 on 1 and 2 on one training and for once we need to work as a team on offensive plays and situations. Bottle him up and let him see the passing lanes and let teammates see where they need to cut to be found. We are an exciting team when we have the possibility of being solid at eery position like we currently have with Bosh Wade TJ Whiteside Dragic and winslow is getting there offensively.

Has Hassan ever not delivered when given the opportunity of an high usage game? His usage is at an historic low level considering the minutes he receives. Include the man on offense on more possessions and maybe he won't treat the ball like his last meal.

I say it from the beginning but that $85 Million is a terrible fit for our team. If i am whiteside, i will say to Pat Riley, it's him or me ! The guy doesnt know how to give me the ball in the post and you expect me to have a long future with you guys when i will get few touches at best and totally ignored for long period!

If i'm Whiteside i bolt no matter what. I said it in the gt, no matter what happens from here on out the damage has already been done. Spo hates his guts, Bosh is jealous of him, the media and fans hate on him. He will never reach his full potential here and if he signs here it will get worse. Just go to LA, or Dallas this offseason and he'll be fine. Take it for what it's worth, some mentioned the possibilty of the Spurs, yes Pop's Spurs going after him since Duncan is retiring soon. Pop could get HW To get it together mentally i'd bet. Leonard-LMA-HW is a beast frontcourt.

said it in the offseason when people were talking 115 mil or whatever ridiculous figure it was. You don't pay pieces that type of money, only foundation players.

If Whiteside goes to Pat and sais "It's Spo or Me" - Pat is throwing him out the window.

Whether you like it or not, That's NOT how Pat rolls.

And there's no reason Whiteside should do that anyway, you don't leave a great situation for the possibility of maybe getting 5% more touches on a new team where a ton of other issues could pop up.

Whatever difficulties Hassan is facing here He'll face in any team he goes to. Growing pains are expected, it's how he handles them that will determined his future.
