I don't think yall understand how much this team overachieved. This roster is not nearly as talented as it has been made to be. We have some good pieces, but they are the type of good pieces that are amazing when they surrounded by a superstar (or superstars if you are the super team building gutless clown like Lebron).

We are not just Giannis or Embiid away from being on championship favorite level.

Reality is we are outmatched. Lebron and AD was always going to be too much. I posted during the Celtics series I wasn’t worried in the least about Boston. I was looking ahead to LA before game 5 of ECF. And there I said we will win this series but neither Heat nor Boston have any chance in hell vs Lakers.

I gained massive respect for Jimmy. Took two epic games from him to steal a couple off the Lakers. He is a great piece to have. DRob also showed out.

Bam, idk if it’s the injury but he was never winning the matchup vs AD. I hope he is injured, cuz Davis completely and utterly dominated him. Bam never had any impact this series.

Really a shame about Dragic. I feel bad for him, horrible time to get injured but it is what it is.

A few of our guys contracts are up, and Riley cannot make the same mistakes again and over pay these role players. Very interesting offseason up ahead. Some of our guys TRADE VALUE will never be higher again. Riley needs to get to work.

It’s a shame we couldn’t make a game of this. But what can you do? We fought, we just ran out of gas. This game is an aberration.

No it won’t be. This team brought itself to within 2 games of a championship. Nothing takes away from that.

Honestly they should be. The finals MVP will go to LeBron bc that was always going to happen regardless if the Lakers won. But AD is who killed us. On both ends.
