Yeah I doubt it. I do find the timing of this a bit odd with Bam having just signed that big deal. Like I said earlier there must be big philosophical changes and talks going on behind the scenes on which direction this franchise wants to move in and moving Bam back to his natural position at 4 seems to be front and center

The Bam news came, then the Butler followed right after. I think the timing was more to shutdown the Butler trade & Heat going on a rebuild speculation that going on. Clearly Riles doesn't want to rebuild. I dont think it was related to the pick.
