I don’t get this? The post above that Dom posted said Coward gives him Redd and Middleton vibes. Coward’s measurables and game seems similar to a young Joe Johnson. What’s the problem with that?

Cedric Coward – 6-7 – SG/SF – Washington State – One of the darlings of the pre-draft process Coward is flying up boards and is very likely to be a first round pick. He’s an excellent shooter with good size and great length. His 7-2 wingspan helps give him upside on the defensive end and will allow him to guard up and down the line-up. He has a bit of retro/throw-back style to his game with his ability to operate out of the post and in the mid range. He gives me Michael Redd/Khris Middleton vibes. From D3 to the first round, what a cool story!

Big Booty Joe is likely a HOFer. I don't want you getting too high of an expectation and then get disappointed he is not a franchise player

Nah just making a simple player comparison not saying it’s going to happen but if i had to compare his game and measurables that’s what came to mind.

With the 20th pick, I think Walter Clayton Jr. would be a solid and safe pick.

With the playoffs he just had, I wouldn't be surprised if Saraf was taken in our range now. I hope the Heat were watching

Easy sell for me. Been high on him since the season ended. Ware and Bam won’t know what to do with themselves with all the dime passes from all angles Saraf gives. 6’6 PG yes please!!!

If we draft Saraf it’s a must we sign a vet PG that allows us to bring him along slowly. Even with Mitchell we need a vet placeholder.

Agreed.

And that's exactly why it will be the wrong pick.

We don't need more solid safe players, we need game changers with real upside.

So Rex is this type of player? Unconventional player regardless of position?

Pick 20 in this deep draft is really going to resemble more of low teens lottery pick during a normal year. We need to stay put and take full advantage of this pick. On top of that the guards should be plentiful. Could possibly have a choice of Saraf, Philon, and WCJ all sitting there.

tbh I dont like his game at all.

And I dont think we need a PF.

High upside PG or SF would be ideal

What physical attributes are you looking for to feel they have high upside?
