I dont think Wiggins will be considered by the Suns. They just had the highest payroll in nba history, and didnt make the playoffs.. theyre looking to shed salary.

Wiggins will either stay in Miami or be moved to another team..

Rozier, Duncan Robinson, JJJ, Larrson, two firsts.. and some filler contract.. i believe thats what the Suns will get.. it may be an overpay, but thats nothing new with the Heat to overpay.

I can see the Lakers as a good destination for Wiggins.

Preferably we get to keep Duncan and release him for the 10 million cap savings. Then two young players to include Jovic, JJJ, or Larrson. Then pick compensation of the 20th pick and a future pick. Maybe we get lucky and can negotiate down to 1 future pick and some swaps. Then the team has to have the means of extending Durant for 2 years at 120 million. We will have plenty of space to take that on for the next two years. 2027 is the lottery protected year with the Hornets that we need to pay out so we go into 2028 with Durant off the books and getting to select in 2028.

You think? Jovic with some question marks. JJJ who looks closer to out of the league than in it then bad deals like Terry, Duncan, and Wiggins. A late first round pick and one future 1st? Feels like suns are loooking to get more since they’re deep in the hole

Durant is great but still 37 years old and wants an extension. Look at what Butler just went for. Durant also has to be willing to sign extension with team traded too. Suns are getting cap relief and 4 young assets for an expiring aging star. Butler literally just went for one 1st rd pick. I think we actually might be overpaying a bit here.

Well you have to factor in how the league holds the Heat to a different standard. All of our players get devalued right off the bat. Plus KD is KD one of the best scoring players of all time despite being a weak spined snake. Jimmy has always been a fringe superstar and the entire saga killed off his trade value. Can’t compare the two.

All that said yes it would be an overpayment but I’m always looking at it from the other teams point of view first

I think Bam is better. He's just too happy getting pushed aside. Every single year that Tyler has been on this team he has averaged more FGA per game than Bam. In '19-'20, Bam's first all star season, both Nunn and Herro averaged more FGA per game as rookies. He's just too timid about carving out his space and taking ownership. Short of a personality transplant, I don't see that changing.

The list of mids and bums that have out-competed Bam for shots is not a short one.

Man Bam is not a better offensive player. This is like when Air P used to compare offensive efficiency using PJ Tucker. Bam simply cannot get off the shots Bosh could. He doesn't have the hands/handle or counter moves. How many turnovers did Bam have attempting a "move" vs the Cavs?

Dudes have their strengths, nobody gonna argue Bosh defensively, but offensive ability is a bigger gap for me.

I don’t think anyone is arguing Bams a better scorer, I’ve actually seen majority who would take Bam over Bosh say Bosh was a more fluid scorer. A lot of people are jumping in without understanding what’s being debated. Bosh had his fair share of playoff scoring struggles as well, far more than Bam.

I will say though if the scoring gap was as big as some are trying to make it sound then he should’ve been able to score more on higher efficiency being fed by LeBron and Wade with their identical shot attempts and usage and I guess playmaking doesn’t matter on offense any more

I hope we can get him for the trash we are offering but in reality it will cost us Ware since we will want to keep Bam and Herro and we need to give something of actual real value in a trade. A core of KD, Bam and Hero should get us to the playoffs and the front office will say mission accomplished and cash in on the playoff money.

Beasley could get off every shot, too. If you (1) do it on below average efficiency and (2) become a black hole that doesn't flow the ball to better looks to help the offense (or even better, create better looks) then it hurts the offense.

This is arguing just to argue. We're talking about a HOF pf that was a first option for years, not Beasley. We saw Bosh take over games when Bron or Wade was out and boost his production instantly.

Bam the last 6 years without Jimmy and Herro: 23-10.5-6.5 on 57% shooting

Bosh without Wade and LeBron: 24-9-4.5 on 51% shooting

We’ve seen the same with Bam.

This might be true but regardless Wiggins has to go to a third team to get rid of the 30 mil player opt. Will have to get some expiring’s back for him in order ti balance the books out with Durant’s extension.

As they should. Durant is on a silver platter for Riley to close. There’s just not going to be a ton of realistic suitors. This deal may look similar to Butler. Maybe we end up keeping the 2025 pick and end up giving the Suns a 2031 with JJJ and Jovic along with the Duncan 10 mil cap savings.

It's honestly not. It's assessing value of getting off a shot and how aesthetic it looks vs the actual efficiency of the play made.

Man I just don't want KD, Harden or any of these old guys who are still clinging to name recognition. Their time has already past. And to give up draft picks to get them? I'd rather they blow the team up and acquire picks. Clear the plate and start from scratch. Rather than dragging this out.

KD scored almost 30 points a game this year. You really want to keep running out the Jagsmith’s and JJJ’s. Forget his age. Look at the continued production. Even if the cliff is 20 points a game at 39 it’s still worth it.

Didn't say anything about the role players. Even though I like JJJ and he isn't making much money anyway. But I don't want OLD players. KD has been failing with better teammates on other teams already. It won't be any different here. I want them to take a direction that will give me something to look forward to for the long term. With KD, if everything goes right, maybe the Heat are no longer a play in team. But will still get stomped no later than round 2 and maybe even still in round 1. Then in a year or two when he's broken or done Heat will be in the same spot again. Looking for a direction and wondering why the last two seasons were wasted on old guys.

We had 37 year old Tucker and 36 year old Kyle Lowry and got the first seed and made it to the finals. We have good players that need a star glue player. Give them that opportunity for the next few years
