After looking at this, I don't want Griffin in Miami anymore.

Heat salary cap space 34.5 million
Heat S&T for Gordon Hayward
Winslow 2,705,040.00
McRoberts 6,021,175
Richardson 1,471,382
=$10,197,597
34.5+$10,197,597=$44,697,597
Gordon Hayward-Starting Salary $26,000,000
James Johnson- $10,000,000.00
Dion Waiters- $8,600,000.00
Its the only way i guess we could make all three work. Resign Ellington with the mid level.

That's what I was asking earlier. If we S&T for Hayward can we bring in Blake as a FA instead of bringing back Waiters and JJ?

I don't think Blake is taking a penny less of 30 mil. Gordon on the other hand may be willing to take a little less if his wifey really wants to live in warm weather.

Paul George willing to stay in Cleveland following a trade if Bron stays. They're saying he also feels the same about Spurs and Boston. Riley gotta get Hayward/Griffin if that's the situation and maybe that puts us into consideration.

That CP3 trade was in the works for 2 weeks according to Lou Williams. I'm sure Riley has a good sense at what will go down in July.

When did PG say that?
He ain't going to Cleveland.
Neither is Melo who wants to be bought out and go play for the Rockets...looks like CP is gonna banana boat LeBron's ass and gonna try to beat him instead of helping him beat GSW with Melo as a Cav.

It's on the wiretap. I don't know where they got it from. Maybe his agent?

So much conversation for a #14 pick, especially since Pat is probably going to trade him...

Needs to be 2-year deals to get their bird rights.
But the fact we had them last year doesn't that cumulatively adds up to Bird rights or does it have to be in the same contract term?

2 years only gets you early-bird rights because they played for other teams before.

Re: Miami HEAT Offseason/Trades/FA Thread: Sardine Central
I hope we don't sign Hayward, especially if we have to trade pieces for him. People here tossing Winslow and Richardson on the trade heap like they have no value. Their first year we rode them to the playoffs. Last year wasn't so good, but this year if they rebound, we'll look so stupid dumping them before they shine. It's important to know when to throw the log on the fire. Golden State is going to win the championship. If not them, a reinforced Houston or Cleveland. Time is our ally, though, when we have young players and a good system. All I want this season is to win 45 games and give up a non-lottery pick to PHO. Next season (2018-2019) we'll put our team together in a much better free agency.
Keep your powder dry.
