Just a few hours ago Barry Jackson was selling the base on 4 star scenarios and people ate it up lol.

This front office better have a plan B, because they're about to have 2 embarrassing offseason in a row - failing Bam and Jimmy and Spo and us fans yet again.
Get ready for Nick Smith Jr on Thursday

We were warned we’d be shocked about how little Beal was traded for and we still had people who thought it would cost us Herro and picks

Cap relief it is

Can't believe people are this mad over missing out on Beal. Beal is no KD, and that contract is gross for what you get with him. I'd rather they take a chance at getting Dame, he's a game changer. If we can't get Dame then Brook Lopez and Turner will be next on my list. Heck I'd take Kat, Ingram, Porzingis, Vucevic over Beal any day. They might not be available but Beal is not him.

Probably sizable had they got Beal, if Dame isn't acquired I'd expect they're going to be told to get under the tax. No way am I going deeper into the tax for Strus or Vincent, those aren't the talents you go DEEPER into the tax to retain.

We had Lowry, HH, and Oladipo. We needed them to take salary off the books

Heat3 wrote:I trust the Heat FO. For as much as some of you are mad cause you want every name that is available, just remember. We ran it back last year, people were mad, and we made the Final with our 3rd best player missing almost the whole playoffs. I trust these people with building a contender even if it is with names that are unheralded.

Running back this squad going to be a bloodbath. Finals run aside we barely scraped into the playoffs to begin with. Not to mention we have a target on our back as well now. Milwaukee gonna tool us like they did the year after the bubble when we got swept. I feel like honestly Mikey got Pat and Andy on a tight leash money wise so we're forced to be kinda cheap with our trade offers hoping that our lowball offers will be accepted by a team willing to risk it.

Lillard is the superstar top 10 player, guy that brings us over the hump, Beal isn’t it

if we don’t get lillard oh well but that’s who we need

Would hate to see another contender acquire Kristaps Porzingis for diddly squat while we sit on the sidelines hoping Damian Lillard stops dwindling his thumbs.

Remember Riley runs it back at least once a week with his wife. He’ll run it back harder

Maybe possibly can flip Robinson and 18 to the Spurs for Collins, McDermott, and there second rd pick. Spurs maybe go after Wemby mate Coulibaly

Would be a nice draft if they paired those guys.

Return to Miami Heat
