Anyone think Chris Paul is available for the taking for cheap now that Spurs have their PG?

Damn

Thank the good Lord! I'm guessing they wanted Ware, Jovic, Jacquez and every pick we could put together. It would have been our entire future for a 36 year old Durant

Apparently it was Jimmy a young player and a pick or 2

I know how much Mia loves KD so I wonder if they still are trying to figure something out last minute before the deadline.

I don’t think so but wouldn’t be shocked if they revisit it this summer

Don't worry. They will revisit in the offseason

I would be shocked if we could move Rozier for anything right now unless we attach a 1st rd pick. He'll be an expiring trade contract next year that gets bought out at the deadline.

Those 3 FRP are at the bottom of the first round. Almost 2nd round picks. Heat got a top 10 protected pick.

The 3FRP are the best between Minnesota and Cleveland this league changes quick so in 2-5 years the landscape will probably change. Also the warriors are 2 games behind Minnesota, huge chance that Minnesota pick will be better.

All you need to know is Danny Ainge traded away all those picks for one unprotected FRP from the Suns. He didn’t think they’d be worth much and got an unprotected pick from the suns. We got a top 10 protected pick which is pretty damn good and we don’t have to wait 6 years to use it.

Currently its 14th overall pick this year.

Gotta keep this up. Good to see that Bam didn't just permanently lose all his abilities at the age of 27! Plenty of context to understand why he's getting out of the funk. Still expecting growing pains as he's still pushing to expand his game. Last night's turnovers were rough. Been an issue for the whole team shifting big without as many reliable creators/ballhandlers on the floor.

I guess we weren't very high on Schröder.

PJ is going to fill the role of seasoned, tough veteran who can teach the youngsters and eventually become an assistant coach

So what the heck are we doing with Kevin Love then?

I like the basketball fit, as he could bring some size, experience and IQ to the backcourt-- but yea', the dollars don't make sense

I like Slo mo too. Can never have enough 6’9 guys who handle and hit clutch 3’s. I actually hope we do keep him and make another move instead to get a PG.

We're trying to develop our young guys. It doesn't make sense to pay tax on a developing team. You save those tax years for when you have a roster that can compete for a championship.

I think the trade hasn't been offical from the NBA because Miami might be still trying to move either PJ/KA to get under the luxury tax. Until than keeping my fingers cross.

Riley is keeping PJ. Anderson was never supposed to be part of the deal so he's the one that's most likely getting shipped out. Probably haggling over compensation with teams right now.
