i am a little worried about minutes. Jrich and TJ both are going to need >30min a game. ellington should get 20. dragic should get 30. worried about either tj or jrich running point. maybe jrich can play the 3 some.

I don't see any reason why Justise shouldn't be playing 35mpg+ this season. The boy is 20, let those young legs work. It's not like we've got anything else to play for. This season Hassan, Justise, J Rich, and TJ should all be allowed to play through their mistakes.

No more benching Hassan because he's getting scored on in the post, no more benching Justise for spacing. Just let the guys play.

How many games are you looking to lose? What is the point of paying Whiteside 100 million if the next 2 years are spent rebuilding?

No. This will become a player's association issue, and it won't be pretty. Our rivals will dump on us too no matter what we do. You can bet on that.

We need to err on caution for better motives. Bosh bleeding profusely on court would never be forgotten. It would be a PR nightmare. Nobody wants to help us out of the situation though. We need that amnesty clause. I wonder if they regret using it on Miller now... Stupid twats.

Calls the front office stupid twats for not waiting to use the amnesty provision

Doesn't understand it expired years ago

LOL

I know our front office is doing their job when the only criticism people can come up with, is layered with a poor understanding of NBA rules

Except there was no expiration date on the amnesty. It's true that Bosh wasn't eligible though because his amnesty-eligible contract expired in 2014. I do enjoy the fact that "twat" isn't a banned word. That's actually why I posted it. Twat. Twat. Twat. See? It's fun.

I seen somewhere he can't be traded for 1 year.

Who else would get those minutes??
Its either them whom have played last year including playoffs or the 1 year rentals....
The line I see now is starting lineup

Dragic
T.J.
Richardson
Winslow
Whiteside

Gallinari is a great player but he has injury problems. The issue with a TJ trade is also his cap value, isnt it at 1.5 mil this year? So who can we get of value that way ( assuming its not his contract value stretched out)

The other thing that kills me with laughter is how Pat wanted TJ to back off his word to take a worse deal with us. TJ then says no i gave my word and now Pat praises TJ with his "high morals". Deep down inside we know Pat is pissed about this. Business is business.

Why would Pat be pissed about it? You said it yourself, business is business. You dont think he understands the business is for FA's to maximize their value?

Yo Pat couldn't even convince freaking Tyler Johnson to take a similar deal with the Heat but with money averaging out evenly.

Pat doesn't have it anymore.
For a long time it gave me nightmares, witnessing an injustice like that. It’s a constant reminder of just how unfair this world can be.I can still hear them taunting him, Silly Rabbit tricks are for kids.I mean why couldn’t they just give him some cereal?

Pat Riley didn't want TJ to take a worse deal at all. He wanted TJ to take a deal where the same amount of money is spread more evenly over the course of the 4 years, which would have benefited TJ by getting him more money in years 1 and 2. He praised TJ for sticking with the WORSE deal because he had given his word he would.

TJ is a role player, all role players are expendable. The Heat have more important roles to fill than TJ as a backup guard. Might be the only bench player that has any value. The Miami Heat has to upgrade the starting lineup first. The starting lineup presents only one mismatch and thats maybe Hassan. Gallinari gives the Heat more ways of getting mismatches. He can start at the 3 guard position and slide to the powerforward position as well exactly, how the Heat used Deng offensively but better. We know he can shoot, but he can also handle the ball well and pass well for a 6'10 small forward. His value may be very low because of injury history and his ability to opt out next summer. This may be the time the Heat can trade little for a player like they did for Dragic. Maybe just maybe the Heat can get him for TJ, Williams and McRoberts type of deal.

The Heat can run 3 nice lineups.

1st Big Lineup (2 shooters)

Starting
PG: Dragic
SG: Winslow
SF: Gallinari
PF: Bosh
C : Whiteside

2nd Medium Lineupe (2 shooters)

PG: Dragic
SG: Richardson
SF: Winslow
PF: Gallinari
C : Whiteside

3rd Small Lineup (3 shooters)

PG: Dragic
SG: Richardson
SF: Winslow
PF: Gallinari
C : Whiteside

If Tyler Johnson cant be traded for a whole year. Ohhh that is not good. The have little trading chips.
