Signing him to a cheap 4yr contract would be pretty big.

I really really don't think there's a chance he's coming back to Miami. As I said earlier with Winnie. It's the Rockets or Shanghai.

I don't know, I don't really like valuing someone based on Summer League play. I would like to see more what he can bring in the league.

So I'd probably just give him a minimum contract but I wouldn't be mad if they gave him the rest of the MLE. So little over 2mil starting.

Reality is unless he shocks everyone he'll still likely be playing behind Bam and Dedmond so shouldn't require any more than the Min.

I imagine they’ll come to terms on a 2 year deal, maybe a 3 year deal with an option on the third.

James Ennis has actually turned himself into a very productive role player. I'm hoping we really do sign him.

Yeah I think its possible they align it with with either Lowry's final year or Robinson's 4th year as the 5th is apparently a Team Option or non guaranteed.

So a 3yr/4yr deal would make some sense from a cap flexibility perspective.

Now that Jimmy, Bam and Robinson are locked up through 2026, keeping cheap young talent on this roster long term will be very valuable for us.

Love that line up.. but depends if we have lost okpala on the Lowry trade.. if so would rather Winslow than TJ to fill in the gaps

In middle of bargin basement PG research and looking at Langston Galloway. Would be a total under the radar signing to backup Lowry. Shot almost 40% from 3 with the Pistons just a year ago before getting caught in the Suns guard log jam.

I think there's too much skill set overlap between Tucker and Morris for them to be on the floor together in the second unit. If the plan was to play Bam at PF then I don't see why we would have got both PJ and Morris.

I say it should be
Lowry/FA?/Vincent
Robinson/Herro/Oladipo
Jimmy/FA/Strus
Tucker/Morris/KZ
Bam/Dedmond/Yurtseven

I think Dedmond will be the backup center but we should work towards bringing Yurtseven into the backup role as he progresses, his offense skill set would be very helpful in that second unit.

I think another ball handling guard is required for that second unit also. Herro is going to be relied on way too heavily in that unit to both score and get other guys involved. I know we can stagger guys but I'd prefer it if we had a solid 1st and 2nd unit.

I think Josh Hart is another very interesting name who's still out there. Probably another guy out of our price range with the BAE but who knows with all the limited money out there.

He'd be another fantastic fit next to Herro at either the other guard spot or even spot minutes at the SF position. If Oladipo comes back healthy they could be a very solid combo as the PG/SG/SF off the bench.

Someone who can guard up and averaged 8rpg as a 6'5 guy is pretty great especially on a team that had Zion and Adams last year.

Yeah. It’s a bit of wishful thinking having Yurt start right away. Most likely Spo goes with Tucker to start out at PF. Langston Galloway might not be a bad pairing with Herro off the bench. Galloway has proven he can chip in with scoring.

Last i heard Cavs are thinking about offering deal. I don’t think he’s an option here

Interesting signing by Hornets. Got him for 13 a year. Most likely puts Rozier on the block.

Return to Miami Heat
