Maybe so, but without a guarantee of resigning, teams will be exposed to the possibility for paying a ransom to get Mitchell only to lose him for nothing.

Hypothetically, if he quietly asks out of Cleveland and submits a short list of preferred teams and Mia were on it, this proposal is completely reasonable. Only thing missing in the proposal are the picks which Mia would certainly have to include.

No I don’t think so, Trae is my 2nd option behind Mitchell. Right now with who’s available Lavine/Caruso best out Ingram for 3rd for me.

But 40 mil a season contract? Something tells me Heat will regrets it. I don’t think Heat is seriously looking at Trae unless they can get him cheaply cents on a dollar and the like. I’d have prefer Ja morat than Trae. You can see the difference how ja morant impacts grizzle’s despite his checkered past than Trae could for Hawks.

didnt this dude had a violence issue with his g/f or something? if so how is he back since the NBA is sensitive about all these things?

I know nothing about that but I know he punched a teen and he was sued for it. That’s the latest legal trouble that Ja morant currently in but I would still prefer him despite his legal issues. So sue me!

Don't think Butler meant to make it look like he wants to be traded or anything

but I wonder if the contract negotiations are starting to piss him off

Love watching Jovic highlights from this season. The growth in his game was excellent. He does so many things well. If his shot continues to look as good as it did this past season and he gets more comfortable attacking the rim and finishing, he can be super dynamic.

Bulk Jovic loading...

Side note: inverted Jovic-Jimmy PnRs are a vibe

It might be time for Spo to pull a Brad Stevens and move to the front office as GM and make Quinn the HC. They need to bring Juwan Howard back as an assistant.

For some reason, I completely forgot that Russell is still in the league. So Russell to the Heat? There are rumors that Russell might be leaving clippers and looking for a longer contract else where. Don’t Miami love hard workers?

Every time we need to go with some hypothetical where magically player X just wants us, we need to take a good step back, go outside look at the sun, relax and then just go on with ones day.

Lets say one ignores that, even in this hail marry we have him picking other teams which again can destroy this offer. Finally Danny hangs up laughing at this offer, no way he makes that trade for Herro unless we are adding 3 to 4 first round draft picks. Herro had a horrible season and was injured. That trade honestly makes no sense for them other than to steal value from them for our hail marry.

For 1, seems like both Sexton’s and Clarkston’s days are numbered in Utah so they’ll need a replacement long term perimeter shooter there.

For 2, it’s no secret that Ainge liked Herro when he was drafted.

3. Herro can be the short term face of a rebuilding team particularly in that market to sell tickets and jerseys.

4. a future conditional pick and Herro is not an unreasonable offer despite your pessimism.

5. No one said that Mitchell would have to pick Mia and only Mia.

We’re already in peak offseason form:

1. Several stars available and some linked to Miami

2. NotAdam has returned just in time to fuel the hope trafficking

3. Flash4TheWin is firing up his usual schtick of us having the worst assets, contracts, and players in the league and we’re in last place for any hypothetical trade. I’m waiting on the “if Caleb opts in we’ll have to send 9-10 1sts Bam, Jaime, and Jovic just to get off his $7M expiring contract and even then it might not be enough”

4. The same people saying we don’t have the assets to trade for an all star are the ones defending this dog **** front office to the grave while ignoring why we’re in the position we’re in.

Right now we’re just missing ICCs nuggets and watchouts nonsense he’ll post the day free agency opens.

I’m sorry I’m not the Heats GM as I’d have at least 1 championship team built in this Jimmy/Bam era but unfortunately this is the hand we’ve been dealt. We are forced to watch the nonsense The Washed Father is making Spo trot out there season after season without a true upgrade to put us over the top.
