I’d be shocked if it happened, but I hope if he’s still on the board when it’s time for us to pick we go with Bronny James. I think he would be great in our developmental system. Forget his name. 3&D athletic guard who has a great 3point shot and plays hounding defense.

If we can maximize Gabe freaking Vincent imagine what we could do with Bronny

Good chance Bryant will be traded.
I am expecting the Heat to target Newton, I prefer Boogie Ellis.
Klintman is still there and he should be ready to contribute his rookie year.

If there's any demand for Bryant he'd opt out of his $2,845,342 player option.

How long before Ware gets meaningful minutes at the end of games?

Have a hunch that De Silva is gonna be blocking Jacquez’ dunks for years to come

2025/2026 if he earns Spo's trust.

He kind of reminds me of Willie Cauley Stein (physical/personality point of view, WCS had effort concerns as well) who turned out to be a bust but I hope he does develop and move Bam to the 4 and Jovic to the 3.

Bam might have requested the change himself.

If I remember correctly Al Horford never wanted to play C back in Atlanta either. These guys don't always know what is best for them.

The Heat play small because Spo wants to switch everything on defense. Ware projects to have the ability to switch onto 1-5. He also may have the ability to shoot and space the floor as well.

If his knock is his motor I would think with guys like Bam, UD, and Zo around the organization that might be an area where the Heat can help.

His high level comp for me is Chris Bosh, I like how he shoots it, and I’d imagine he’s going to be a fantastic PnR piece eventually.

Really like the pick

It's not that easy. Some guys respond to being challenged and pushed, and others don't. Some guys you can't convince that they aren't already playing with a high motor. The good news is that an inconsistent motor beats the hell out of a low motor because we know that he can and will turn it up. It's just a matter of getting him to keep it turned up.

I don't think Thibs is good for most rookies. I wouldn't be surprised if the Knicks try to stash him given the depth on their team, his young age, and the payroll bind they're facing. I hate it for him and personally as someone who cannot support anything knicks

Looking at them coming out of college, Miami Gabe Vincent would probably be high level outcome for him lol

If we get keshad Johnson or mogbo in the 2nd and pullin undrafted that's an A+ draft all things considering.
1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington

Be on the look out for Pelle Larsson. We worked him out late in the process

Read on Twitter

I think this is an interesting name among guys the Heat have worked out. I haven't spent much time looking into 2nd round prospects, and those that I have dug into some are mostly PGs and Cs. But, Pelle Larsson's statistical profile would often pop off the screen when I was digging into other prospects:

Very healthy 3-level scoring numbers:
- 44% of his FGA at the rim (getting to the rim at high rate) converting at 64%
- Shot 42% on 2-pt jumpers
- Shot 42% from 3 (40% for his career)

Very solid assist numbers for a largely off-ball player. Doesn't appear to be a plus on defense. Older prospect at 23. He has some athleticism to his game. I think I read somewhere that he may have attitude issues--maybe it was passivity? Would be wild if Miami went 2 for 2 drafting guys with attitude concerns.

Worthwhile article if interested:

Great role player archetype IMO

We thought we had a gem in Precious, and he is god awful. Heat usually draft well, but in the end it’s a crapshoot.

I knew nothing of Ware going in. He seems to be a talented big who can defend well and run the court. I doubt he contributes much early, but is a good piece to have going forward.
