I do remember IndoorOutdoor from a while back .. not sure if any of his sources have panned out though. Anyway, looked up his posts and found that BBallFreak had vouched for him a while back, interestingly enough in a thread with rumors of a trade with the Clips

Guys, I know IndoorOutdoor pretty well and I can vouch for him. He does have some connections and has been able to call things in the past. No, he's not 100% accurate, but he's worth listening to.

It makes sense, on top of it all. We know that Riley loves Brand. We know that their have been rumblings that Riley does not love Beasley. Then, this morning, this article gets posted on ESPN.

Face it, us trading down and trying to acquire Brand is a very real possibility. The question I have is what will the filler be and are we trying to get the 7th pick as well?

One thing is for sure though, we are finding out this pick's maximum value. That cannot be considered a bad thing.

I had dealings with him quite awhile back. He was able to get me in touch with Lamar Odom back when he was on the team. He's legitimate to a degree. He does have some sources within the organization.

Can't promise he's 100% accurate. He never claimed to be, himself, but there is a certain level of legitimacy to the guy. Take it with a grain of salt (and honestly, you and I both know that it's Riley's intention to make this happen) but at least understand that the source isn't a complete fraud.

As for the rumor, looking at our cap structure, if we waive Ellington we end up with about $41.1 million in space. If we can attach Winslow to McBob and send them to LA for Griffin, we'd be able to give BG and GH each $24.9 million. That's not enough. They'd be leaving millions on the table, which they shouldn't do. Maybe Riley is able to include Tyler as well, but even then you're only talking about $27.8 million. You'd have to waive both White and McGruder in order to get them to the max, but look what we've done to our team:

Pg: Dragic
Sg: Richardson
Sf: Hayward
Pf: Griffin
Cc: Whiteside / Bam

That would be it. And the only way we'd be able to add depth is with the Room Exception and minimum salaried guys.

Paper thin.

Maybe Riley works his magic and gets McGruder and White back (though I think McGruder would be able to go get more, pretty easily) but even then we have too many depth issues...
