Been telling yall, Tyler doesn’t fit. Never has, never will.

Actually I’ll take that back, he fits off the bench. Time to turn him into Manu Ginobli

The good ole days. Man this was such long ago. Back when everyone knew their role and ran functional plays.

This is how we maximize our starting lineup if we wanna get really serious.

Jovic
Robinson
Butler
Jaquez
BAM

Tyler as important as he is, is best maximized off the bench as a 6th man on this team. I’ve seen enough at this point.

You need someone in there for Jovic but you’re definitely going in the right direction

Because Herro was out and Duncan and Highsmith were starting. It’s really simple.

I think Jovic is up for the task, PG is his natural position.

It’s gonna be a little shaky and raw at times from what we’ve seen, but he needs those reps exclusively at the 1 spot to blossom.

No way he can defend opposing PGs, this isn't even an option...We need a PG who can drive into the paint on offense and breakdown a defense to either score or kickout for open 3s. Jovic is not a PG.

Tonights team stats
95.6 OffRtg, 115.4 DefRtg

Herro - Martin - Butler - Jovic - Adebayo
11 mins, 90.9 OffRtg, 118.2 DefRtg, -27.3 Net

Not a positive unit that played more than 3 mins together

12-5 when Highsmith starts, 58 win pace

12-5 when Duncan starts, 58 win pace

8-3 when they start together, 60 win pace

12-12 when Herro starts, 41 win pace

12-7 without Herro, 52 win pace

5-6 when Jovic starts, 37 win pace

21-14 when Lowry starts, 49 win pace

3-5 when Lowry doesn’t play/start, 31 win pace

Lowry
Duncan
Jimmy
Highsmith
Bam

Should be your starting lineup with this current group, I don’t even think it’s debatable.

Yep the SI writer forget his name that was a guest on Locked On Heat said that awhile ago and they were all like no Herro but it's just the truth. Those are our best starting 5 together right now.

Its way too early for Jovic to get such a big role. Let the man play off the ball in the halfcourt and get to handle in the open court. But to tell him to run a play in the halfcourt as such an inexperience player is crazy.

Jovic can’t play PG in the NBA. This is the Winslow narrative whenever he sucked. Point Winnie Point Jovic. I’m not seeing it with Jovic right now other than extremely raw young player who’s a step late on everything and not a very strong finisher.

He’s not ready, he needs another year or 2 developing. Nothing wrong with that, he has a unique size and skillset
