Very good, its just he probably isn't an NBA pg. More like the gabe Vincent 3&D guard. He really turned it around this season, I was afraid he'd go undrafted.

If true he would be a good fit. His offense looks mature enough to fit an NBA offense and Spo offense. He is long enough to defend 1-3,

Who knows what happens. This off-season could be very busy for the league in general.

Damn, with Philon gone, if they take a pg it'll either be an international guy like Saraf or Traore or a senior like Clayton or Kam Jonesi

Has a true 2-way PGs game. Better onball shooting than offball (I believe he was around the 80th percentile in pull-up 3pt shooting), but was forced into more of an off-ball role to defer to smaller more experienced guards that need the ball to be effective (Mark Sears and Aden Holloway). Despite adjusting to more of an off-ball role, he still provided consistent clear impact on the court--12th among freshman in all of college bball in BPM this past season. Boasted a 36.7 defensive field goal percentage on the season.

Steady floor with underrated upside. He's just skinny as hell (built like Dejounte Murray)

He might be the hidden Maxey of the draft. I’m excited for the 20th pick. Plenty of quality options that you can validate as bpa at the weakest spot on our roster that should be there.

Its hard to evaluate Philon because his game tape doesnt say much to warrant a 1st round pick. And I do not care about highschool ratings. He will have to show something in private workouts.

Defense, paint penetration and floor game is all over his tape.

Not eye popping, but really well-rounded and always engaged in giving his team advantage.

Draft is really thinning out. Pettiford and Lendeborg both returning also.

I expect each to ball out next season. If Philon can add 10 pounds and get his 3p% up (which I expect with more onball work), he can up his draft stock as a 20 year old.

2026 draft is looking nice. My real boy--Adrian Wooley--should be part of it, too.

20 is kind of rich, but tbh I wouldn't be surprised if him and Jase end up having similar roles and impact in the NBA. Tyrese has much better tools, but Jase is much more efficient while being much younger.

Tbh, now that the draft has thinned out so I'm pretty worried if any of the guards I want will be there at 20. Personally, I wouldn't think we'd get a wing, because who at 20 this season could we reasonably expect to help lead an offense in the near future? Any wing capable of that is the high lottery.
PG or back up C are the 2 biggest holes right now. We have 1 legit PG (Rozier is washed, Stevens is too tiny, and Dru has one leg) and no legit back up C (Love is washed). If I was a betting man, I'd unless there were some Gators haters in the staff, Walter Clayton is who I think they'd pick. Mature guard, can run an offense and play off ball, not afraid of the moment, not super small, built tough, has good athleticism on both sides of the ball, can shoot from anywhere on the court. The type of guy Spo would put in the rotation instantly.

Not implying to get him at 20. Implying the Heat should target him rather its by trade or negotiate with his agent to be an UDFA.

When looking at centers....tbh idk if this is the year for centers. I don't see any decent defensive centers in our range at all. Atleast they're all upperclassmen, so they know where to be. They're all offense guys and idk if we need that from a back up c on this team

Players I believe Miami should prioritize if available at 20:

Cedric Coward - Wing
Noah Penda - Forward
Rasheer Fleming - Forward
Jase Richardson - Guard
Ben Saraf - Guard
Adou Thiero - Wing
Walter Clayton Jr - Guard
Nolan Traore - Guard

It's ALWAYS a good idea to invest in more athleticism, positional size, and defense with 2-way potential

The way this draft is shaping up we will have a solid choice at 20. By then all the draft on potential guys will be gone and we will get a solid wing with a chip on his shoulder. Player personality will also be a deciding factor. I could also see us drafting wcj (he won't still be there) and trading tyler and bam and going full tank next year.
1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington

Not a lot of point guard needy teams from 10-19. We should be in great shape

I think I favor Fleming based on his measurements, athleticism and the fact he’s also a solid shooter already. Hes not one of the of those guys that get to the league off insane size and athleticism and can’t shoot a lick

Penda worked out for them last season. So I would eliminate him since they chose other guys. Will be interesting to see who they work out this year, because these are the guys who they are likely to draft
