Is this game an immediate "must win or statement game"?

No - there are no "must win" games until the playoffs.

What a start to what should be an epic season for the Heat. The big 3 will play a full regular season game together for the first time. And with new teammates, a key missing piece in Miller and no real time to develop real chemistry they are thrown right into the fire. But if they win this game, watch out once they get that chemistry.

Boston will come out hard at home and ready to prove a point. This game will be superb skill verses skill and chemistry.

Too early for me to predict, but for the first time as a Heat fan I like our overall product more the opponent, and feel like every game will be a victory.

havent been this excited for a sporting event since Game 6 of the 2006 NBA Finals on June 20th 2006. Long time coming.

I expect an epic battle but THIS GAME IS NOT A MUST WIN by any stretch of the imagination, its Game 1 of an 82 game season. we must stay realistic throughout this process.

So what will Spo do if Boston go straight at Joel Anthony and Carlos Arroyo? Last year Spo had to quickly bench Arroyo matching up against Rondo. And it will be interesting to see how we play on offense against the best defensive team in the NBA. Will be able to get to the basket at will, or will we be primarily a jump shooting team?

Celtics fan here. For some reason, you guys have more class as a fan than the CAVS and Raptors, but I still have to raise my hate up a notch this year against you guys for competition sake. This should be an awesome game so good luck guys 'cause its gonna be a long year.

With wade and bron teaming up to destroy boston is as personal and emotional as it gets so i think they will give it 200% shyt even bosh should be pissed to be called the rupaul of big men and even snubbed again by shaq this year
