Are nosebleed seats really that bad?

Post#1 » by taii1234 » Fri Oct 29, 2010 4:42 pm

Do they have like a TV in the section where you can watch the game?

Is it really high up there so you can't see whats going on?

Are nosebleed seats really that bad? Or are people exaggerating?

I'm thinking about getting cheap tickets but the only ones left our nose bleeds.

Edit: It depends how cheap you get them because their so high up, that they could cause your nose to bleed, hence the name, you also might want to carry some binoculars too

You will end up watching the game on the big screen but, there's nothing like being there. The ambiance and energy is sick. You feel like you're contributing. I say do it!

Save the $200 per ticket. and $30 parking....buy fifty hooters wings a case of beer and watch the game in HD for free.

The atmosphere will be fun but with those seats it's not worth it.

Nosebleed seats are fine. I've been up there. I think the only screens in the arena are those on the center scoreboard. However....I recommend a stop a Hooters today. The girls are in their Halloween outfits (underwear) today. I stopped by the Doral one for lunch

I've only been to the AAA one time and had tickets in the low 300 level (the night that Vince dropped 52 on the Heat while he was playing for the Nets). That seemed quite a distant from the game but not bad and without any obstructions because the seating is so steep. Not sure I would want to watch the game from the 400's.

The Super Team has opened up some entrepreneurial opportunities for some of the more creative people. I was meeting with a lawyer (big ball fan) in Toronto a few weeks back. He and a buddy bought four seasons tickets and two foreclosed homes in Miami that are less than a 30 minute ride to the arena. They packaged the home games in (generally) two home game packages plus accommodations and have sold out all the games that they don't plan to attend this season. The price that they are charging is quite reasonable and the regular season profits will pay off the two houses by the time the contracts expire for the Big 3. The only thing they are worried about is a possible lockout of the players next season.

I couldn't even build a house of the same size, for the price they paid for both houses in the Miami area.

Sure for $10 to $20 it's hard to complain and many are fine with that type of pocket change.

But at $180 will you still say nosebleeds are fine? When you know that those are really ~ $10 seats?

And if your taking your lady to the game, and add parking and food/alcohol, your looking at close to $500.

Even for those that don't mind to spend ~ $500 for a few hours would not be happy campers were binoculars are necessary.

The view is fine. No one can tell you if the price is fine. That's up to you and your budget.

I feel they are okay once you get there you will not regret it. The only problem is when you over pay for those seats. I would pay up to 40 bucks for those seats when infact they should be no more than 20 but when they are charging 150 or more then there is a problem. Of course if you are used to lower level then you will hate them. When I was younger all I ever went to was upper level so thats all I knew, man was I in shock when I was finally able to go to lower level, I remember saying I will never sit up there again (even though I did) lol

I was there tonight in the 400's Row 3 and it was awesome. Didnt look at the bigscreen once. You can see the whole play develop. You can see if a shot is going in or out as soon as it leaves the player's hand. And the fans aren't as lame. The whole lower bowl left during the 4th quarter while the upper deck was FULL and rowdy

The biggest problem I have with those seats is the time it takes to get up there and leave.

On a side note, the half-court lower 300 level seats are the best in my opinion. It's like you're watching in real definition.

The first 2-3 rows of the 400s are OK. They are not really any higher than row 8-9 of the 300. But the 400 level is steep, so if you are much higher than those first few rows it is very high and the players look like ants.

I've sat everywhere in the AA Arena, and I can tell you the 300-400 Levels are the funnest, although not the best view of the game. As you get closer and closer to the game (in seating) the people get douchier and douchier. One time I sat in lower level and one of the ticket people asked me to lower my voice.

I heard that on the home opener the 300 Level ran out of Corona's .. for the games I'm going im probably sitting in the 300 levels and they better not run out of beer! I would be one angry customer if that happens! LOL!

I was 9th row 300 level on opening night and could see everything fine. Good position 300 level seats let you see everything fine as long as your vision is ok and the atmosphere is way better than the lower seats. Some magic fans had 3 rows of people screaming Magic suck all night at them  that wouldn't fly in lower level seating. I will say though, one time I remember being in the real cheap 400 lvl standing room only section and that was just like a mixer where everyone was talking about how they couldn't see anything.

I have season tix in 300 level center court and I wouldn't trade them for low level seats(Corners and behind the basket seats).

Yea. Standing room seats suck. I sat in them during the '06 playoffs without knowing the tickets I had bought didn't have a seat considering they gave me a seat number.

But the 400's are awesome. We had little kids yelling Stan Your Fat, Stan Your Still Fat, Stan, Why Did You Eat My Cheeseburger?
We had a Lakers suck and Kobe Sucks and BEAT LA Chants, we had a failure of an attempt at a wave, and we just had fun throught the game while the lower level drank their whiskey in the concourse, and left at the beginning of the 4th quarter. You could see very few empty seats at the final buzzer in the upper level while most of the lower level was empty
