I can't really tell from those pics if he's put on any weight.

Not going to like he looks kinda monster in that first pic.
But its nothing new really.. everyone puts on weight in the off season, luckily for bosh he's naturally skinny so he can hold weight good.
He needs to slim up in my opinion though.

I'm confused.
Looks like his arms got bigger in the 3rd pic!

Slim up? Obviously you're new as a Heat fan but Bosh was getting absolutely manhandled against every big in this league. Putting on weight was the right thing to do.

Exactly also something to consider is that the last season he played for the raptors he bulked up in order to have a breakout season, but he lost some of that naturally throughout the season and decided to slip down in the off season to prevent knee injuries ( Some might remember those bulky kneepads he had throughout 09-10 season) which explains the reason he was really skinny by the season rolled around. Anyway he seems to be progressing (bulking up) and this is the kind of Bosh we need Bigger and Badder, time to prove the critics wrong.

I don't mind him bulking, but not if it's gonna make him injury-prone. However, I liked that Bosh was healthy most of the season, and only that freak ankle injury took him out a short while. If he just rolls to the rim with the frequency he had in the playoffs, he'd be fine. I think he just settled for to many jumpers.
Since we're supposed to be getting a good rebounding center, he shouldn't have to bang as much. I think the Big3 is already a great rebounding trio with Bosh at his current weight. PEACE.

I'm used to seeing him in a Jersey, he's in baggy clothes here. It's perfectly possible for it to be an illusion. So no, I am not.

He was noticeably bigger at the FIU charity game as well. He's definitely bulking up.

Lighting/angles.
Look at the last pic CB1 in the background. Not looking much bigger, if bigger at all.

I think Bosh is going to have a monster year this year. Better than Amare. Book it. He looks great. If he stays healthy with that physique and hasn't lost too much quickness, he's going to dominate on the block.

When Bosh put on that muscle in the off season back in Toronto a few years back he came out of the gate as a LEGIT MVP candidate! But I don't think he was prepared to handle it... he lost alot of his quickness and was very tired in the middle of the season... maybe the lock out could be good after all

Heat power forward Chris Bosh is ready, willing, and, this time, able to play center if called upon.
After shying from the assignment for much of his career, Bosh said he has resigned himself to the reality that he might be the Heat’s best option in the middle at times.
“You know, as much as every time I try to run from it, it just comes and pulls me back in,” he said during the start of informal team workouts Thursday at AmericanAirlines Arena. “So I accept it. If I’m a five, put me down there, have me guarding the biggest guy, I accept the challenge. It is what it is. Every year that I’ve said ‘Oh, no, I’m not doing it,’ I’m in there anyway. So, I accept it.”
Bosh arrived bulkier than last season.
“Leaps and bounds better in my opinion,” he said of his revised physique. “But that was one of the things, not only did I want to get better on the court, but I really wanted to get in there in the weight room and really put a lot of work in and improve my body and improve my endurance and be in the best shape possible coming into this season, because it is physical down there and there shouldn’t be a season where I don’t average 10 rebounds.
“I feel like I let my team down, so that’s not going to happen again. And the only way I can do that is to get stronger, get more physical and be more of a presence on the boards.”
That emphasis, he said, was a constant during the lockout.
“Just weight room every day and just work,” he said. “That’s one thing I kind of didn’t do. I don’t think I worked hard enough last year. I was in a position where I didn’t know what to expect, and everything, I was kind of caught in the headlights a little bit and I couldn’t catch up.
“But now I know what to expect. I played in a championship series. I came up short. And I feel I know what it takes to get over that hump.”
The soft tag, he said, will be shed.
“I kind of let that happen by not being as aggressive as I could be,” he said. “I feel like it’s in my hands now.”
