I'm hoping we don't bring back Bibby, but resign Jones and Juwan. If theres an amnesty in the new CBA we'll be looking pretty good though.

There is an Amnesty clause...
I like some of the names that may be released on Amnesty: Hinrich, Salmons, Kaman, Haywood, Mike Miller...

I don't see the point in using the amnesty clause on MM, atleast not yet. Those injuries he had were pretty severe, so lets give him another shot.

1st things 1st is resigning Chalmers, signing Cole, & (hopefully cutting House).
After that is signing (probably) Dalembert with the mid, & signing a vet PG, & (my guess) a defensive stopper at swing man.
By the way we are keeping Mikey for at least 1 more year.

If we can get him AND Dalambert, I'm with you. But SammyD comes first. Dude better be motivated, because he put on quite an audition when the Kings played down here. PEACE.

Invite AI and Vince here for training camp. They can battle it out for a bench spot.

How is our D great? Did you see how the Mavs could score at will in the finals?

They didnt score at will, they kept getting second chance points because our center was non existing.

It has a lot to do with our bigs. I do not feel like giving a long explanation but when you cant trust your bigs to rebound it effects your entire defense. If we have a center who can get 8 plus rebounds not 1.2 rebounds like Anthony, our perimeter defenders can put more energy in defending the perimeter.

Yeah if we have a center who can rebound it really changes things for us, because now Lebron and Wade can leak out for fast breaks instead of helping to rebound. And if the center can also block shots like Joel, then it helps our perimeter guys to take more risks to cause more turnovers. The key to us being a more up tempo athletic team is getting 8-10 rebounds per game out of the starting center.
If the center can also play offense, it's an even bigger addition, because last season we didn't have a single two-way center on the team. If we had the offensive centers in, they didn't defend, if we had the defensive ones in, teams could cheat off them.
Someone like Nene, Dahlembert, or Chandler you can't just not guard on offense. And defensively their rebounding should allow us to run.
If we become a running team, there's not a team in the league who can stop us. The Mavs zone becomes irrelevant because we'll run them off the floor. We have the fastest 2,3, and maybe 4 in the league. And our two and three are literally the most unstoppable forces in the game in a fast break situation. Teams gameplanned last season just out of fear of that. A legit MLE level center and a healthy Haslem irrespective of what else we add should take us from really good to great.
Also if Wade worked on his 3 point shot this summer, and Lebron got a post game. And bosh got strong enough to hold his position on the block a little better--those things would help too.
I hope this year we put the fear of god in these teams.

He's so overrated, he's washed up, a has been, etc.
Kirk Hinrich is nothing special. He's always been a chucker, he's not a spectacular shot creator, so he would never just breakdown the defense, he's not an assist man, not like he has outstanding court vision, he doesn't turn the ball over.
So yeah he sucks, he gets by on defensive reputation because people still got the 2006 kirk hinrich in their head. He's loss a step, not so much of scorer, he only attempts 3 threes a game and pretty much makes 1 out of 3, so he not really a shooter.
Jamal Crawford and Mario Chalmers is better.
