No, he's right. After 3 quarters the Mavs are going to forfeit and the franchise will be moved to Pewee Valley, Kentucky.

Also, as far as I'm concerned the Mavs do not have championship rings at this point in time. DIIIIIIIIIIRK NO-RINGZKI!!!

You know, I really don't feel a rivalry or animosity here, even still. Overall, the Mavs players are OK (besides Terry, but meh). Most of their fans that post on here (besides sefant) are pretty cool as well.

Still, would be nice to open with a win.

Let's git it boys! This should be the ultimate motivator. If they can't get fired-up after this, then they never will. I hope for a big win. I wouldn't be surprised with a loss. We're replacing a lot of pieces, including the starting center and much of the support cast. Dallas will return most of their guys. I do hope we see Bron's post game, Bosh rolling to the rim more and Wade healthy and motivated on both ends of the floor.

To me it's hard to get excited about this game. It's a game that appeals to the casual fan, but come June doesn't mean a damn thing. At least when we opened up with Boston we knew we'd very likely be seeing them come playoff time. There's only a very, very slim chance we meet Dallas again come playoff time. To me it's more about what we do game 34 against the Lakers or game 41 against Chicago. Game 1 against anyone is a throwaway.

Also, According to Cuban the Mavs won't be getting their rings that night anyway.

This'll be a fun way to start the season.
