Norris Cole vs Vet

Will the shorten season not bold well for the rookie Norris Cole. As we know our defensive system takes a long while to get down. And from what we seen, Spo takes a long time to implement his offense. Will the Heat have the patience or the time to allow Coles to learn on the court as a rookie, or will the Heat decide to bring in a Vet who can be a more ready player?

Will this also effect Jarvis Varnado?

You might see a return of Bibby. Free agent options don't look all too appealing and it would be a bitch to work a new guard into things. Bibby should also benefit from the shortened season, as he will hold up longer.

Rather have Cole develop at point guard. I think we got ourselves a steal in him.

As much as I would love for Wade to find a way for eternal youth, the guy will be 30 in January. 4 years from now he will be 34 and James 31. If Cole learns from these stars and becomes a star himself, we have a guy to replace Wade in the future and still play with a prime Lebron James.

No no no no no no no. God no. Worst PER in playoff history. Let that sink in, man. This team is built for a championship. We don't need dead weight in the playoffs again. Bibby can retire already. PEACE.

I think so too. The limited video of him out there shows he runs the pnr well and has excellent court vision. It was said he had the best court vision of the PGs in the draft. He's also tenacious on defense. I don't know if he'll have too much trouble fitting in since we can just throw him on the opposing PG from halfcourt. He had one of the best times in the agility test too, at the combine. PEACE.

i say scrap the wade or bron at point guard thing. give 34 mins to Rio and 14 to Norris. I don't know why but I feel good about the kid, especially as a change of pace dynamo.

I hope we aren't counting on Cole to be Wade's replacement.

Haven't we learned by now how overhyped a lot of our late picks usually are?

I would be happy if he is a rotation guy.

+1. D-Wade and LeBron are not true PGs. Give Cole some burn during the season, let him learn from his mistakes and probably be a legit contributor for us in the playoffs already. He's quick, athletic, has a decent jumper and point guard skills. We need him.

still curious to see who that 3rd pointguard will be... I'm thinking in a shortened season, Bibby gets another shot. The problem with that is if Cole gets hurt, we go back to where we were and this is very slow at the PG. I think we should look into TJ Ford

There's a reason why Bibby sucked. Bibby was taken out of his comfort zone. He wasn't allowed to ball handle, but the Big 3 (mostly LBJ or Wade) would ball handle. Bibby is a ball handler and is a vet PG. HOWEVER, we have a stubborn coach and Bibby just.... sucked.

We don't have the defense to keep protecting Bibby unless we get a good Center.

But I'd give Cole a chance... he seems like another Rio to be honest lol. But less of a bone-head.

But this team doesn't give rookies that much of a chance, especially since it's time to contend and the season is much shorter...

ANd yeah Wade and LBJ aren't true PG's. I mean when they have the ball, there is a wall just for them. Someone fast has to give the ball to them... Cole is that guy.

Did House exercise his player option before the lockout, or is he still on the roster? If he's still on the roster, that's our 3rd PG. :? PEACE.

I totally forgot about him....

I'd still give Cole a chance lol, as the 2nd PG though. Eddie House can't defend :| He is a bit streaky as well.

Time to give a little hype for Norris Cole with some of his highlights. Hopefully he truely can be the diamond in the rough we sorely need and been looking for.

Sigh, I hope to see him playing next month. He'd be a nice spark off the bench.

If he doesn't play a part of me will just be in immense pain for the kid and really anger toward spo will grow but hopefully he does the right thing and grow us some young talent to go with our experienced team.
