NBA League Pass

I have Dish Network but it seems like DirecTV was giving away the NFL Sunday Ticket for free to new customers and current customers this year right after the lockout and for the whole season.

Do you guys think the NBA will do the same thing and give out the NBA League Pass?

That **** better be discounted. After putting us through a 5 month lockout like that, its the least they can do. If it's still full price I'll start a petition or a boycott movement, there's no reason to not reward the fans with an "offer" for league pass. Even if it's limited time. 16 games off the schedule = Almost 1/5 off the season. If that doesnt reflect in the price, I for one will do my best to avoid supporting anything NBA (merch, tickets, programming etc).

That doesnt mean I won't watch though. I'm gonna watch the **** out of some NBA.

Just because you aren't from miami doesn't mean you are a bandwagoner. I am from Canada, HIF from france, pretty sure Flash3 lives in NC. It doesn't really matter as long as you support the team through good or bad. I've been here for years, pretty sure Brazillian has too. No need to call anyone a bandwagon fan when you don't seem to know the posters around here.

I don't think I've ever played the join date/post count card but I'm LMAO @ a guy with 15 posts that joined two days ago calling someone that's been here since 2002 a band-wagoner. (Assuming you're referring to the OP)

That's hilarious! Now, be gone.

Wow. That argument was at a High School level at best. I'm a huge Heat fan but I'm also a fan of basketball in general. I know I'll have heat coverage thanks to sun sports but I'd also like to be able to see how our competition in the East is playing on a regular basis. Unlike most Miami fans, I'd like to be INFORMED about a sports argument before actually getting into one.

Now, that post might seem like it's from an out of towner but I've been in Dade for all my life. I call it like I see it, and Miami has some ignorant sports fans. There's too much to do in Miami for most people to regularly stay informed about a sport. Contrary to other markets, like Oklahoma City, which I'm sure is a ghost town when the Thunder are playing.

Even if I was a bandwagon fan, what's it to you? I dont understand why ppl get their panties in a wad over bandwagoners. They come and they go. If they wanna support your team, so be it.

I got a friend that's supposedly a Heat fan that's living in New York. He that told me if the Knicks get CP3 then he'll become a NYK fan. Now that's a reason to get mad at somebody.

Don't think so but I am sure they will proportionally charge their customers for the short season.

To the guy with 15 posts...I've been on here for almost a decade.
No, I'm not the most popular or the most positive fan, but I'm a Heat fan and never lived in Miami?
Don't like it? Sue me for pulling for a team that is not from where I live...

I wonder if i could sign up for just NBATV without signing up for the whole NBA league pass package.

They will definitely discount it.

DId anyone get the broadband last year? I'm thinking about going that route myself, but not having HD games is going to be a huge bummer.

If you have DishNetwork or DirecTV NBATV is on the upper tier packages, so just change your package and you'll get it.

Get international league pass if you can all those games are supposedly HD. I think since you are located in the states you'll need to use hotspot shield or some program like that to get it though!

I'm going broadband this year for the first time too (as long as they actually have it cheap)!

i had international league pass broadband last season. i did the email thing on nba.com but nothing yet. id like a discount but not expecting one. however league pass is my ONLY way of watching any NBA basketball with any regularity as they only really show Bucks games in Australia (because of Andrew Bogut)
