wtf? that is too direct... usually it's like "sources say blah blah"

but SIGN? not believing that part til I see it...

if Eddy wants to actually try and turn his life around I don't mind him coming here. He SHOULD be cheap because of his absence from the NBA, and also he is better than most Centers just because of his size lol.

Sedano just mentioned that Eddy Curry will end up in the training camp roster...

Love the signing! From everything Ive heard his slimmer and motivated to get back. Centers are slim to none in this league and yes he has his issues(Weight, motivation...) but if he can get past those, this could be the signing of the off-season. I'm not holding my breath but its a like a lotto ticket that has 3 of 5 numbers already right. More than likely you don't win the grand prize but for a $1 why not get abit excited.

I still see a few more moves and a trade.

Alright GT3 you are confirming Curry then...

And Martin Schwartz just tweeted Aldridge and said Battier and Curry are Miami bound...confirm Battier too?

What are the other moves man?

With LeBron being friends with Eddy, it is going to make his transition to our team culture much easier and not under the spotlight. Sometimes, when you are often around greatness, it brings the best out of you -or so I hope in this case. Curry will be around THREE great players and an great coaching staff.

Time to get Bob McAdoo back to work.

I mean... he's not Nene, but he won't be non-existent on the floor, and that's what we need most. This would be a good signing. Not great... but good considering the alternatives.

Meh. Dude was a horrible defender even when he was in shape. Good lost post scorer though. Oh well, at least we got Battier today. That's all that matters to me right now.

How about no one has seen hide nor hair of Eddy Curry to this point. He withdrew from that charity game, and all we have on his status are reports, not one pic. Color me extremely skeptical. He may be in training camp, but so were Pat Beverly, Anthony Mason Jr and a bunch of other guys who aren't on the team anymore. At least we've seen Dexter Pittman's constant progress and have been given actual weight numbers for him. Curry is a mystery, and I'm betting he's still overweight and out of shape. Maybe in better shape than before, but that's not saying much. I hope I'm wrong.

My nightmare is coming true. All we're gonna emerge with this offseason is Curry, Battier, Kwame and a bunch of younger scrubs to replace the old scrubs we had last season.

Time for Bosh to get ready for heavy center minutes and hope we don't face a Chandler, Bogut or Gasol in the Finals. PEACE.

I agree with this. If he's motivated, I'm interested to see what he can bring for us this season. Maybe even a starting role. If we can sign Kwame as well, I like the look of our center situation.

Need to put an ankle bracelet on him to keep him away from the Cuban bakeries and their evil croquetas/pastelitos.

I'm fine with this at the veteran's minimum. If he can work hard and turn into a solid contributor, why not.

When Eddy slimmed down for the Knicks a couple of seasons ago he looked like a different guy but I think he ended up injured or permanently in D'antoni's dog house.

If its for the vets min its a great deal. With Big Cat gone, and Dampier and Big Z with both feet in the old folks home there aren't a lot of vet min big men out there. Eddy is at least young and he is skilled for the min he's a low risk high reward type guy, hopefully.
