i saw it on espn earlier, anyone have a link, basically what i took out of it is that lebron seems like a much calmer person and he's generally just in a happier place and doesnt let stuff get to him, i think that'll help him to because he's not the type of player that will play alot better if driven by anger plus he might no have long slumps like in the finals.

i'm not making an excuse. i was simply commenting on his demeanor and how it may affect the team.

na he doesnt have to shutup, just shutup with the excuses

just come out and admit you choked, failed, you were outplayed by JJ barea, shawn marion and jason terry

you shut down the MVP then got embarrassed by much lesser players

oh so you couldnt perform as well as you wanted because everything wasnt going perfectly in your life and nobody loved you?

i'm a huge lebron fan and have always refused to accept he was "weak" mentally but i cant defend this guy anymore

The assertion that anger/revenge mentality is what failed LeBron last season is the biggest lie being told out there. When you're angry or overly motivated to prove people wrong, you overcompensate on the basketball court. You try to do too much. Who the hell is going to accuse LeBron of that in the Finals?

LeBron needs to stop lying. He clearly has other issues that he needs to ADMIT to himself first. Only then can he overcome what happened last summer.

well he states in the interview he obviously didnt play like himself during the finals, and he asserts it to trying to show people wrong about himself, i hope hes right, we'll see though.

It's still completely bizarre and defies any kind of explanation from us looking in. I mean if anything there was more pressure in the Celtics and Bulls series. The Mavs series we were the favorites, which we weren't in the other.

And I don't understand why pressure effected his defense. He went from being able to shut down anyone he wanted to not being able to get any kind of key stops on Terry.

He may have just been out of gas at that point, like Wade had been in the Bulls series--and coupled that with differing too much to Wade who looked like he was going to carry us to a title in the finals.

Who knows though. It does seem like he's been thinking a lot about that side of it though, we'll see if he's in a better place mentally or not this year.

I think if he has developed his post game, it should help eliminate that aspect of his game, because he'll have something to go to when nothing is going well.

well he couldnt defend terry because they ran him around screens nonstop, carlisile adapted brilliantly to it.
