Amare Trash talking the Heat....

Post#1 » by MaliBrah » Fri Dec 23, 2011 4:33 am

So Amare goes out of his way to say this
Josh Harrellson, an avid hunter, asked Amare Stoudemire where they could go hunting this season.

Stoudemire replied, 'South Beach.'

A half-amused, half-confused Harrellson asked Stoudemire, 'What can we hunt in South Beach?'

Stoudemire replied, 'We're hunting D-Wade and LeBron.'

Amare has the "rifle" and he's hunting d wade and lebron. It's like a mouse going hunting for a bull.
Can you imagine if one of our heat players initiated this trash talk even though its playful?

Wade responded with this ahahha
@Amareisreal I got those "hunting" tips for you. Hit me on the cell L2MS

It's only a rivalry if he was challenging the Sioux Falls Skyforce, the Knicks are trash and I'm definitely not scared about them. Let's see the McGrady's get out of the first round for once.

Woohoo! Bring back my childhood

I'm really not feeling it yet, feels too contrived, with Knicks fans overrating their team and the "OMG MELO OWNS LEBRON" stuff. Its more like an annoying little brother at this point.

The old Heat Knicks was a great rivalry because both teams were consistently good, not to mention the fights. Let the new Knicks prove they're actually worth something before we call it a rivalry again. Last year, the Melo/Amare Knicks were on about a 40 win pace... I kind of doubt it, but this team could be a repeat of the Isiah era when it comes to overrated selfish talent underachieving.

Thankfully, none of the current Knicks have as many off-the-court issues as the Isiah Knicks did, like Marbury and his antics or Curry/Jerome James eating their way out of the NBA.

Instead of hunting on South Beach, Amare should spend time working on his defense.

The guys priorities are completely screwed up. Knicks are in big trouble.

Come on peeps... Knicks & the Heat are two of the top 4 seeds in the East. The Heat will probably get #1/2 the Knicks may get 2-4... Lets see what happens... The matchup was intense last year and lets not forget the 40 win pace... We had Melo only from the All Star Break and there was no Tyson Chandler... Sure we had Billups but he was an aging guard in a new system.
Didnt that Melo, Amare squad beat the Heat in Mid February after the trade?

& Dude... are you really forgetting you have that lazy fat ass Curry on your squad? Man... I really wanted that kid to succeed and when he played well... boy did he play well... but wait till you see how his dramas and fiscal irresponsibility drive your team crazy! lol! Perhaps if one of you are nutritionists or financial advisers you can get him some help.

Hopefully Baron Davis comes in healthy in February...
Knicks vs Heat = Playoff type atmosphere... Don't get it twisted... We Are Coming For You

Knicks are an overhyped squad that can't play defense. They'll entertain MSG plenty, but it won't mean anything come playoff time.

Awwwww. Isn't that cute. The no defense playing sixth seed talking smack. Knicks are much closer to the pacers and sixers than us. They will be battling those teams for the 5-8 seeding.

It is amazing to me how much better they think Tyson Chandler makes that team. Knicks fans make him sound like Dwight Howard. Somehow this one guy who is the only good defender on their entire team, playing for a coach who has never coached a good defensive team--is going to turn them into the Boston Celtics on defense. It is incredible.

Everytime we play the Knicks we will trot out with the two best players on the floor. And our third guy is as good as their second guy.

That's a sizeable talent gap without even getting into how much better our bench is than theres. That they think they have a shot against us based upon the result of a single regular season game that could have gone either way at the end, is mind boggling.

knicks fans are crazy

Knicks fans seem to forget that they didn't get Tyson Chandler for nothing; they traded their 3rd best player, Billups, for a guy who also will be their 3rd best player, Tyson Chandler. The marginal increase in defensive presence is somewhat mitigated by the big loss in leadership, offensive spacing, and a proven backcourt player.

The only reason Knicks fans are going bonkers over Shupert right now is because they know that without him, they have nothing else in the backcourt at all. They are clinging to his promise because they have nothing else beyond him. LMAO at Toney Douglass being the best guard on a supposed championship contender.

I don't even care that the Knicks think they're on our level... the team that should really be disrespected is Chicago, because they're just being forgotten by New York, like they're just a stepping stone and passing them is all but a formality or something.

He owns a house down in Miami and there were many reports saying that his preferred location was to play in Miami before FA began in 2010. Miami chose not to sign him and he had to settle for NY who was one of the only teams willing to pay him the max.

Anyhoo, who cares. What Amare has to say in terms of competition is about as relevant as what a Danny Granger or Andre Iguodala would have to say.

I'll listen to what the Knicks have to say when they win a playoff game.

True. At least Philly and Indy won playoff games last year. And both of them played a better team than the knicks played.
