Chris Bosh appreciation thread..

Dude gets shat on even when we win sometimes by the national media. Thought a thread to appreciate his Dinosaurness was worth it.

He was a beast tonight. Nothing soft about those dunks. Clutch too, which is an underrated aspect of him. Dude has always come through with the big shot/big play, playoffs--regular season--doesn't matter. He's ready.

I think he's a more well-rounded player than Amare who gets twice the praise and is never called soft. He's younger too.

I think he's making the Gasol-Leap, from being regarded as a soft loser, to one of the best players in the game at his position.

lol come on. This is ridiculous. He had a good game, he doesn't need his own appreciation thread, he's supposed to do this.

Nobody hates him.

If anything this thread is disrespectful to Bosh, suggesting tonight was something out of the norm for him.

I dunno, TNT spent their first five minutes of Heat talk the other night just lambasting bosh and calling the Heat the Big two all night.

Seems like they were hating

This should have been made when Bosh was tearing up Chicago in the ECF. TOO LATE!!!

I agree. This dates back to the start of last season. Bottom line, when he has a good game.. It's hardley brought up, yet if he has a tough stretch he gets nailed by everyone including Heat fans. My phone blows up with texts from my fellow heat fans about how much he sucks when he has a tough stretch. Funny, anytime he plays well.. I don't hear a thing about his "good game". It's gotten to the point it's just annoying as hell... Everyone that's a heat fan should support this guy.

I luv our boy wade, but he always gets a free pass for crappy games(like tonight, even yes he hit game winner)...and all anyone talks about is lebrons awful games 3-6 in the finals and people like to forget how awful wade played against the bulls, with Lebron and Bosh leading us to the series win.

Going off on a rant.. Guess my point is, how about HeatNation support the players through the ups and downs... The same way we do for wade.

Since you've been here for a while already, you should actually know how D-Wade used to trashed as well when he had a bad game and frankly, still does. I've been lurking on these boards for quite some time (I even tried to sign up in '06) and I remember how he, and rightfully so, used to receive the same criticism Bosh and LeBron do now. It's just that he's won us a title and has been for a while, which is why he might get a pass much easier now than Bosh and LeBron.
What's changed, however, is the overreactions on this board in general. We play well "Oh we're unstoppable, the best in the world bla bla", we played bad or even lost a game "Oh no, let's trade Bosh for Howard! He suckorrzzzzz!". Just look at the hype Norris Cole created with a couple of solid games. I'm as excited as everybody about finally picking a promising player late in the draft, but it appears as if some people here just live in extremes.

I got more pissed when LeBron/Wade are trending on twitter during heat games and Bosh isn't. During the other nights game Chalmers was trending more than bosh

My thoughts exactly!

Leave the appreciation thread for if he ever leaves, or when he wins an individual award.

He does get way more bashing than he deserves. Hearing Shaq and Barkley along with some of these posters, saying how Haslem is really the third of the Big 3 not Bosh is laughable. He always too willing ot adjust around Wade and James, but it allows us to enjoy those big stars even more. Over the years you should see Bosh get better and better, and go down in history in being part of the greatest big 3 ever.

the thing about Bosh is - i still believe HE IS NOT the kind of big that we really need, ideally, in a prerfect world, we would have a easier time with a big, tough defensive rebounder type of a Center, like a Andrew Bogut.

With that said - i like Chris. Wade and Bron likes him. he's a very good player, better then any other third option in the leauge.
and i do think and appreciate the fact that he's doing his best to become more of what we need, he's a worker who wants to win and doesnt care too much about ego stuff. whice i love. i really want him to do good, he's not a perfect fit but he is a good guy and a very good player.

We have that guy too though. His name is Udonis Haslem. He's about as tough and phsyical a rebounder as there is in the league. Granted he's not a center like Bogut, but if UD were 7 foot tall and did what he does on the court, he'd be a max contract guy. Would you rather have Tyson Chandler or UD/Bosh--y'know?

THIS IS CHRIS BOSH this is how he is meant to play and I agree with that point when he does bad people wanna trade him for Dwight Howard but when he does good people say oh let's keep him.

I too have gotten annoyed with how some fans have such radical reactions we win 10 games in a row we are unbeatable and than if we lose 2 games in a row let's trade away the team. Basketball is a sport with ups and downs hot streaks and cold streaks Bosh can score 50 points but if we lose who cares but if Bosh scores 10 points and hits the game winner everyone will say good game by Bosh .

I must admit, I may one of the quick people to criticize and talk **** about Bosh in general, but I am also one of the quick ones to applaud him when he succeeds.

With that said, let's go Bosh. :)

Truth is, he has accepted his role this year and is at ease with it all. Last year he was trying to fit in and become this figure he was not which led him to frustration a lot of times.

Since we bump the bad Bosh thread... this is only fair!

30 points (61% shooting), 8 rebounds (3 offensive), 3 assists, 1 steal, 3 block shots!... and only 1 PF and TO!
