OT: BC says Bosh was untradable

Got this off the raps board (as a canadian I do read it
) basically BC wanted to trade Bosh 2 years before FA but no one would give him anything good for him. I honestly call bull **** but take a look!

Unfortunately for Toronto, the rest of the league knew that, too, and that prevented them from capitalizing on his free agency.
That’s not to denigrate Bosh or the achievements he made in Toronto. He came to work every game, he threw his slender frame wherever his coach wanted him to throw it, and he worked every summer to improve his skill-set and bring something new to the table each subsequent season. At his best he may never have equalled Vince Carter in his prime, but over the course of seven years he gave everything he had to the organization, it’s just that what he had wasn’t enough to put him in the class of players that net their team’s huge crops of young assets and picks when he’s traded out of town.
That quote from Colangelo said even more than that, though. In order for him to know the limitations of Bosh’s trade market, he had to be scouring the league looking for a trade. He had to have been out there beating the bushes, seeing if anything transformative shook loose. Had he been faced with a package of assets similar to what Denver or New Orleans got, he’d have pounced on it. Like he said, he never had the opportunity for a haul like they got, because you have to imagine that if he had the opportunity, he’d have taken it.

i just remember the deal that got scraped the season before his free agency, Chris Kaman and #1 Draft pick Blake Griffen (at the time injured)
BC thought it wasnt enough...Im sure he wish he would have followed through with it now

Saw thread on Raptors forum. According to them apparently he also made comments to the effect that had Bosh told them he was going to leave they could have explored trade opportunities. So basically he didn't explore trade options and explored trade options at the same time.

Raptors fan here. BC is full of $hit. Makes no sense to just let Bosh walk away for basically nothing.

BC develops crushes on players and they think they're worth the world. ^^^^ That number one pick for griffin would of been nice haha

The Bulls had offered Joakim Noah for Bosh before the trade deadline in 2010. The report came from a bulls insider who was very reliable at that time.

kg fan and lebron die hard here,please trade bosh,and i think that will open up something,hate bosh with the softs hands
