Wade's foot

Post#1 » by Chosen01 » Tue Jan 10, 2012 12:09 am

So Dwyane Wade, it is plantar fasciitis? "I don't know, man, it's just hurting. It could be three different things. That's one of them. The bruise is one of 'em. Maybe it's a combination. I just know that it's in the area of the plantar fascia and I know it's bruised as well. Whatever it is, it's just taking its course, taking its time to get healthy.

I believe Wade was going to play against the Nets but took the precaution of sitting it out to rest for the Warriors game which is on Tuesday, could be just a bruise but who knows at this point.

Yea I see no point in rushing him if it is, this team is more than capable of locking up the 2nd seed at worst for the season,Wade should take as much rest as he needs before the playoffs assuming its plantar.

Rondo played with it and I believe was ok but Tyreke and Tony Parker played with it and were not their usual selfs.

Bring him in the last month of the season, but that doesn't mean he should be resting completely. Dude needs to stay in shape.

Maybe Tim Grover can help him rehab it till then.

Lebron and Bosh can take care of the season, we're deep enough to still get the top seed.

Hopefully it's just a bruise and he's good to go by tomorrow. If it's something worse, then he needs to take as much time off as possible. I'm fine with us getting the second seed but having Wade be fresh for the playoffs. Wouldn't that help us more if you think about it?

But Wade is soft! Kobe would be playing right now! WAAAAAAA!!! I care about Wade and his toughness instead of him being fully healthy!

...Am I doing it right guys?

No matter what it is, its best to just rest him. The team is doing great and will need a healthy D-Wade in the post season. Don't risk anything now, too much riding on the season.

Yeah, this is basically what I'm thinking. It would obviously suck if he was lost for most of the year, but it would allow us to have a completely fresh Wade for the playoffs. I don't want his injury to be serious, but if that's the case then we have a good situation coming out of it later this year.

Meh it was the Nets, I didn't mind him taking precautions.

I know Wade wouldn't miss a game against a rival or playoff contender. Unless it was REALLY serious.

I think they should sit him until he feels completely right.

:censored:

I agree with everyone else. Have him sit out if it's really bad but make sure he stays in shape.

LeBron + Bosh + Not having trash as role players is more than enough. Good enough to grab the top seed in the league even. Come playoff time we WILL need him though.

All I want is 16 wins in the playoff's. Regular season and even HCA don't really matter as proven last season.

And when he comes back, bring him off the bench with Cole!

Ever since the Olympics (and our signing of the big 3), I've been a fan of Wade off the bench. Still give him 30 minutes a night, but let him age gracefully while the younger bucks (LBJ and Bosh) become responsible for more of the load.

There are so many benefits. Wade stays fresh short term and has a chance to extend his career. Our bench becomes much stronger. JJ or MM get to space the floor for LeBron more often. Etc.

It most likely will never happen, but I'm not a Wade glory hog. I don't need him to be the man for this team. I don't need his stats to help my fantasy team. I merely want him to have less chance of wear and tear injuries, and be a huge boost off the bench. Its also not like he wouldn't be getting key minutes with our other big guns.

Just my thoughts.

If it's plantar fasciitis then f*** me and I'll take everything about Wade coasting back. I suffered from this stuff in my foot and it hurts like hell and it's hard to get rid of it. It hampers your movement significantly. But then again, it could also just be a bad bruise and given that he's feeling better already, I doubt it's plantar fasciitis.
