Im super psyched. Cant Wait!!! :BartScott:

How early should I get there to watch shootaround?

Any chance to get autographs?

Any and all tips are appreciated.

Thanks for all the help, in advance.

Also, do you guys recommend any of these food places?

Get there at least an hour before the game - not sure about autographs I didn't really try to get one.

Your link to food didn't work but I highly recommend 'The Knife' down the back upstairs at Bayside just next to the arena.

Try not to be as lame and annoying in real life as you are posting on this forum

It will help.

I would highly recommend Burger King restaurant, exquisite homestyle burgers served grill style. Mac Donalds would be another excellent choice.

What type of food are you interested in? I'm not an expert on Miami, but there are a good number of people on here that can help you if you tell them what you like.

For the time being, try this site - http://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurants- ... orida.html

You can pick the type(s) of food, exact neighborhood, and even approximate price range. The comments and rankings are legit in all my experiences. I use this site whenever I go out of town.

You may already know this, but don't be turned off if you see a place have a few bad reviews as long as the VAST MAJORITY of them are good.

I know more about the Everglades/Florida Keys than Miami, so if you're going there and have questions let me know.

I second what Oosh said regarding the Heat game. Hour early, try to take public transportation if you can. Bad traffic in downtown, not to mention tricky driving. It can also cost quite a bit to park I believe (Don't know how much, never tried it).

I was planning a drive to the keys for a full day turnaround. But changed my mind last minute. Should I reconsider?

It takes 3 - 3.5 hours to get to to the end of the Keys from Miami one way- that is Key West.

It's a nice place, but for a day trip probably not worth the hassle. The things you would do in the Keys (Beaches (There actually aren't many, it's mostly mangroves), kayaking, bars, fishing, etc) can all be done in and around Miami.

Go to take a tram tour in the Everglades if you want to see something different http://www.sharkvalleytramtours.com/

It's about an hours drive west of Miami.
