Radio Commentators vs TV Commentators

Post#1 » by Heats_Finest » Wed Jan 18, 2012 10:42 am

Is it just me that likes Mike Inglis much more than Eric Reid and Tony?

Before video streams were a common thing, I used to always use audio pass because it was free, and I'd just watch ESPN gamecast, Mike Inglis is the best commentator I've heard for basketball.

Not sure if you guys feel the same or like the guys on TV, but I just think Mike Inglis makes the games so fun to listen to, too bad my AUDIO Pass never works anymore.

"Wade stops, pops...........Got it!"

Agreed, that's what I'll always remember.

And his calling during Game 5 against the Bulls was epic lol.

"AND THE MIAMI HEAT ARE HEADED TO THE NBA FINALS FOR THE 2ND TIME IN FRANCHISE HISTORY!!"

something like that

I'd just love to hear him on the TV doing the play by play, so much better than those guys on it now. He didn't say it in any of those videos but "Stops, Pops" sounds awesome lol.

The radio commentators are definitely better, but I have to watch the game, maybe I can have the radio play the game and watch it on the big screen. I listen to the games on mute usually when its on TNT, I can't stand the way they hate all game.

Mike Inglis is great! He was going crazy yesterday lol and he tells it like it is. No sugarcoated homerism. Still like the tv crew just cause I grew upon them :D

this is how the commentary should have been on Bosh's clutch 3

but no, Kevin Harlan who is overrated is quiet as a mouse just as Miller and Chuck (obviously). But go crazy if Kobe or Rose make a lay up.

see look,

Mike Breen is the best TV commentator though IMO. Makes everything dramatic lol.

Breen is great thats for sure, but I like Tirico as well. He gets so into the game, but not overly into the game like Gus Johnson who makes a normal pass seem like its the most amazing thing ever.

Heres my two favorite from Tirico:

Pretty sure he jumped out of his suit when Wade hit that shot.

I like Inglis, but when the heat aren't performing he lets them have it, and sometimes that just makes me more angry.

Return to Miami Heat
