Am I the only one that forgot we own Toronto's 1st Rounder?

Until just now I forgot that in the deal that we acquired Jermaine Oneal we also acquired Toronto's next playoff pick. You'd think that while they're a bad team right now, you never know when they could make the playoffs because there's so many bad teams in the EAST. Funny thing is they're only 3 spots out of the 8th seed, I might start supporting them in each game they play from now on bar HEAT. The beauty of this is when they make the playoffs they're likely to only squeek in. Which would give us a very nice pick of around 17-19 in the draft. So for any fan who just now knows this, start supporting your hardest for Toronto lol!
The deal also calls for Toronto to get the league's maximum allowed in cash considerations ($3 million) and for the Heat to land a conditional first-round pick to come sometime between 2010 and 2015. It's lottery-protected, essentially meaning the first time the Raptors make the playoffs after this season, their first-rounder goes to Miami.
If Miami does not get that first-round pick in 2010, it will get an additional second-round pick that year. The Heat also get a $4.2 million trade exception, which would allow Miami to make a future trade even if the salaries involved don't match.

Maybe we did, I just looked at the picks owing page and it doesn't say we own their first rounder, or they owe us one. Oh well, I guess it gave us the ability to keep our first round pick in 2012.

Yea I'm pretty sure we gave it back along with a lot of draft picks with LeBron and Bosh's signings.

I remember talking about how Riley raped BC in that trade, Shawn Marion for Jermaine Oneal and Moon PLUS they took back Banks' horrible contract PLUS giving us the first rounder which would have eventually been a lottery pick knowing how Raptors would've continued to suck. Oh well.

It was given back to Toronto when we signed and traded for Bosh.

we will have a first round pic this draft because why we would just swap with cleveland if they wanted to. They wouldn't swap their probabl lottery pick with our pick either way we have a pick this year.
