You can tell he tweaked it a little with more arc on his follow through. Anyone notcie? The result? 6-6 for tonight. I saw no line drive attempts tonight. Do you think this is the season where he finally improves his FT%?

That's how he was shooting it before the shoulder injury, I'll be ecstatic if he and LeBron can shoot 80% from the line and keep it like that.

Indeed, even just 80%. Is that really too much to ask of two NBA superstars?

YES,that had me more pumped than the dunks. He also seems to raise his heel a little more, and focus on the follow through.

That time off was a blessing if he keeps this up

Hate to say it, but Wade has done this before. I remember where he had a really bad stretch at the FT line where he was literally 1 for 2 every time down, even in the clutch. To the point where they said he went back and started working on it and for a couple of weeks his shot looked just like it did from the line tonight, lots of arc just really smooth. But then he went right back to his old ways.

His shot is just flat, even flatter when he's not jumping. He basically has to shoot it perfectly for it to not hit back rim at the line.

Let's see how it is for a few games before making conclusions.

But nice to see he didn't miss.

LBJ is also doing fine from the FT line too.

Indeed. I think everyone noticed he was very flat on his FTs before he had to sit. Since hearing he was working on that machine that tells you shooting angle, I knew he was working on it. Good to see the early results, but hopefully they remain. PEACE.

Hope they keep it up because there's nothing that pisses me off more on every Heat game I watch than missed free throws. It pisses me off more than a missed assignment on defense.

Wow I thought I noticed this during the game. Because he usually only hits one of two in the final couple minutes of a tight game, so I really watched. He did get a nice arc on it.

I mean I've said it all along, Wade's and Lebron's free throw troubles MIGHT be attributed the bang crash ways they got to the line. They always seem to get hard fouled and shaken up a bit because people know they have to really hurt them so they don't get to the free throw line. Makes them both a little sore and tired. That's maybe the reason, or just poor technique.

Imagine if they could both hit at an 85% rate....That'd be an extra 2 points from both of them a game which would be great for the team and for them individually statistically. It's crucial late in games that you have your stars you can give the ball and they get intentionally fouled and step up and drain two. The HEAT don't really have any guys you can give the ball to and think well these are cash. Too bad they don't have James Jones swag at the free throw line.

His arc was higher. I've been saying that his problem is that his shot is too damn flat. He always shoots much better when he actually puts some arc in his shot.

Foot Injury was fake.

Spo benched Wade until he fixed his mechanics at the stripe.

Riley said to keep it in house.

LeBron's switched his three times this year, I think.

First he had the ball close to his head, and he would bend his knees and shoot. Then he reverted to his old form of basically bending down, and now he has this quicker release, which seems to be working.

But yeah, I was happy when I saw the line drives were gone haha.

Right, we're going to bench our franchise player because of free throws.

I wish Spo had the cojones to do something crazy like that.

I'd respect it.

I saw that too hopefully we can see the 2006-2007 jumpshooter/free throw shooter Wade I never understand why he takes those crazy fadeways his mid range game used to be so amazing I wanna see that again.
