I think this is the game you give Lebron the night off, and probably Bosh too. Wade should be enough for the Hornets.

Yeah. I could understand resting those two guys as well. I don't know if Wade is enough on his own, but I think think this is the best-placed game for Lebron and Bosh to get some rest. We have depth and everyone is healthy. I'd have Wade and Bron dress, but only play them if necessary. PEACE.

PG: Jarrett Jack/Greivis Vasquez
SG: Marco Belinelli/Xavier Henry
SF: Trevor Ariza/Al-Farouq Aminu
PF: Jason Smith/Carl Landry
C: Emeka Okafor/Gustavo Ayon

Wade and company should be enough to hold it down. Our current team minus LBJ/Bosh can't be that much worse (If at all) than the Wade/Beasley/JO squad.

I doubt Spo will give LeBron and Bosh the entire night off, so I'm hoping they play under 30 minutes. If I were in Spo's shoes they'd both be dressed in suits and resting.

Edit:
vs. Chicago (Rounded up)
31 minutes for Wade
41 minutes for LeBron
37 minutes for Bosh

Looks just like the sort of game Heat loose all the time. I think Spo should not be playing any of the big 3 against teams like this :D

i know this team (Heat) too well to expect a blow-out, but i got this feeling that maybe, just maybe, the ugly ending last night gave them something to think about and the'll come focused and just get it done - no BS.

You don't rest guys by sitting them games in a shortened season, you do it by limiting time on the practice court (where guys spend most of their time working).

And by all accounts, that's already being done.

Let's finish out the month strong! I think Lebron and Dwyane might come out looking to blow them out so they can rest in the 2nd half

Hm... both teams played yesterday.

Usually I'd say this is a trap game, loss, etc. But NOH traveling TO Miami makes them even more tired, even though the Heat were in a dogfight with the Bulls.

The bench is going to have to step up to alleviate LBJ, Wade and Bosh.

Give more time to the bench is what I'd like to see.

Hornets are beyond awful and we're at home. We'd really have to lay an egg to lose this one back2back or no back2back.

play the starters half two quarters - doesn't matter which two and get the bench some cohesive game time; that's my ideal for this game

The Heat will prob have the battle of their careers tonight, though

Every team goes super-saiyan against us so I expect it to be eerily similar to that Bucks game, however I doubt we lay that big of an egg again (at least not tonight), regardless of a B2B.

Go Heat!

Ariza goes for 20 and Marco Belinelli goes for 25. I also hate the way that the commentators say Belinelli the HEAT guys say it like Beli.......Nelli

I want to see more Curry tonight... I know it's early but so far he has looked unimpressive (which isn't surprising).

I just realized how desperate I am for anyone not named Joel Anthony to start at center. :(
