Wade/Miller/James/Bosh/UD, this is the lineup we waited for

I think its safe to say this is the first time we've seen these 5 together fully healthy. Even last year in the playoffs it wasn't really there, with Miller/UD coming off injuries and having played less than half the season.

Just happy to see it doing the job tonight.

Outscored Philly tonight in the 4th 32-16, and the majority of that was with this lineup on the floor. About the only weakness is size in the middle, and very few teams can exploit that. Mike, keep shooting!

Haslem's jumper has been lacking which is why this lineup hasn't been very successful as it should had been earlier on the season. Glad to see it back.

I'm going to temper this by saying the 76ers couldn't buy a basket in the 4th and they had enough opportunities - but this was a good win and Wade is perfectly capable of playing point

Well last year when it was first introduced last year against ECF, they won 4 straight against Chicago.

Didn't work against the Mavs... then again there were other things going wrong as well, even Miller and UD injured as well.

But yes, this is what we waited for.

The thing is, there could be a mismatch sometimes... I'd like to see this line up against a real Center.

But hey, it worked so good on Philly.

I admit though, Philly just couldn't buy a bucket lol. They are a bad jump shooting team. Last year we played zone on them, they didn't do anything. Their FG% is higher because they force TO's and get easy buckets, like the Heat.

MILLER NEEDS MORE TOUCHES, UD needs to get his jumper to be more consistent, COLE continue to contribute, Battier on BOTH ENDS, not just 0 points cmon man... and this team can beat anybody. AND NO OPEN 3'S! lol

We got a brief peak late in last year's playoffs, but I was really hoping for some extended run this year. It's such a sound lineup; ballhandling, rebounding, 3s, D, athleticism. If this was a video game, I'd turn off fatigue, trot this unit out there and run people silly.

Heat's Big 5 (Big 3+MM+UD) lineup makes its season debut, outscored Sixers 15-0 in the 4th.

Baller.

Mike Miller is quietly becoming the Heat's best bench player. If MM keeps this consistency up (which in his case means staying healthy) and Haslem gets his jumper back we're looking at the most fearsome lineup in the league right here.

What are the odds we keep seeing this lineup? I loved it last year even though we only saw it a few times..

Haslem is the key. That baseline jumper has been such an integral part of our offense for so long. If he can get back to hitting that, it will go a long way towards alleviating our 4th quarter woes.

But yes, this lineup is pure awesome.

He's having a very efficient season thus far averaging 7.1 ppg and shooting 60% from the field (3P% is 55%)

Miller needs more minutes. I'm glad I wasn't just being knee-jerk about it the last week or so, but he really needs to get more shots up. He is a willing shooter, but a smart shooter now. He's not taking bad shots, and it's showing with his shooting percentage. This is what we wanted from him last season, even with his bad thumbs. Better late than never.

I think all that amnesty talk (and the guys on the bench) let him know he needs to shoot for his job. I know people cringe at the length of his contract, but really, his rebounding instincts and shooting precision are things that should age well for him. He'll be able to contribute through the end of his contract, as long as he remains healthy. PEACE.

After tonight's game his line is actually up to 7.6 PPG, .618 FG, .560 FG3 in 18.5 MIN.

Ive anticipated it as much as the JWill-Wade-Posey-Walker-O'Neal lineup that used to destroy teams in 06, if anyone remembers that one.

Don't get why it took them this long to run it this year. Last year when everyone signed all the other GMs and coaches talked about this lineup and how deadly it can be on both sides of the ball. Everyone can score, play defense, and everyone is fast. Its a great lineup, and it did great things in the playoffs, why it took Spo this long to run it is beyond me. I love when they use this because although Battier is a great defender, he's not as fast as Miller on closeouts, and lets face it he can't shoot nearly as well as Miller. Plus all 5 are great rebounders, and when LeBron is on the court you don't really need a PG down the stretch.

Mike Miller is very disrespected by most nba fans. I Love him as a player and wished he played for my bulls.
