The thing that impressed me the most was that we didn't just beat all 3 of those teams, we CRUSHED them. This team was obviously on a mission and for the first time this season this team actually looked like they had something to prove.

Moments like these are extremely comforting because they just show that the Heat are more than capable of playing on an entire different level when focused. If the Heat are gonna play with the kind of fire and intensity that they've shown these past few games during the playoffs, then who cares how much we coast during the regular season? This team doesn't need HCA in the playoffs.

The only bone I have to pick is with Haslem. He's gotta make his shots more consistently and not take them while he's well covered. Also seems to be going to the rim a lot more which I think contributes to his poor FG%. Aside from that it was a great job wish Harris had gotten some playing time though.

I think it shows when they try hard and are focused they can go to a completely different level that I don't think anybody else can reach.

Even more impressive, the last team to do that by double digits was the Bucks in 1970. They went on to win the championship.

OT-I think our coaching staff should be coaching the All-Star game. Were tied in the loss colum with the Bulls, they just happened to play one more game then us, and we beat them this season.

Im sure Spo prefers the time off.. But it be a cool thing to have seen.

Defensive effort was near playoff level over the stretch. That's the best part for me. They didn't show any signs of fatigue over this stretch. Every other b2b they played this season they've looked tired as hell. I don't expect this sustained effort the rest of the way, and I don't even know if I want it. I don't think the guys need to stress themselves to win the regular season. Winning the division is enough, and we can take it from there. I just want them healthy so they can play with that kind of intensity for the 16 wins in the playoffs. PEACE.

Well, the thing that is encouraging is that it appears this team has finally figured it out. Come out of the gates ready to play, blow the other team out and then sit down. It's a welcome change to watching them sleep walk through the first and then turn it on in the 2nd quarter.

I also really like the ease in which they blew out these teams. All the players in the rotation just look so comfortable in their roles now. Even Wade and Lebron playing off of each other seem to know exactly how they want to work together now.

I was a little disappointed that Lebron only posted up like twice. I saw a couple of spot-up jumpers and shots off of screens, a cut to the hoop, a couple of offensive rebounds... so that stuff was good. Would have liked to see him post a couple more times. A turnaround fadeaway and a step-back fade, both misses, were a little unsatisfactory.

But on the flip side.. look at that lay-out... Cuts, shots off of screens, OREBs and spot-ups. The off-ball game that he was flashing was nice, even if his jumper was cold under the arc. I like that he wasn't spamming ISOs and PnR sets, that he was working in other ways.

Naturally, especially on a B2B2B, it was nice to see Wade play so well. Limited minutes, which was a good rotation move (o.O Who are you and what have you done with Spo?), but yeah, good stuff.

And someone said it somewhere else, probably the game thread, but it's a little frustrating that Wade's back and Bosh is struggling. Ah well. This was another comfortable win and they are, what, a half-game back of the Bulls because they've played one fewer game? Second-best record in the league, best SRS in the conference/league, defending better than last year and still producing top-notch offense, exploiting their increase pace.

Lots to like. And they look good doing it, too, which is another of those little details that adds up.

We were a championship team last year as well. As good as the Mavs played, if it weren't for the Heat's choke job in Game 2 and LeBron pulling a complete disappearing act throughout the series, we would be going for our 2nd ring in a row right now.

Can't dwell on the past though... Gotta focus on the NOW.

I want to see Bosh running to the rim for the offensive rebound every time a shot goes up. He needs to score in other ways and this is one way to get it done..offensive rebounds & put-backs.

It was successful. No team has done is in over 30 years. And they were all convincing wins.

I was really surprised honestly lol.

But the offense was crisp and the defense was actually there. I see LESS wide open 3's (they are still there but oh well).

Only bad things I have picked up are Bosh struggling still (I don't understand his minutes...) and Rio's injury.

Other than that, the bench has stepped up, we actually look like a team unlike last year. Superb ball movement too from everyone.

Haslem STILL gets stripped or blocked at the rim, IT IS SO ANNOYING

3 wins, all by double digits, big 3 got rest, no injuries? Great success.
